I've been working on insurance at my job and i'm NOT very good at it! Do ya think they try to confuse ya with all the termenology and things NOT covered?
I'm good at what i do but man i suck at insurance!

I am going to try and get my hair cut today and maybe some highlights. I sualy think about getting my hair cut but when it comes down to it I chicken out.

I was like that for a long time FYI then i finally got the nerve and cut it short(er) :lol: And now i love it! So much easier to take care of... i also have a hair appt today! (and an insurance appt)
Can't wait till this insurance business is over!

On another thread someone posted they wanted the men to talk baseball. Not my favorite...I like NFL Football...even though I live 12 miles from Indianapolis I am not a Colts fan. My deceased husband got me started and I love Sundays in front of my TV with my snacks..quit often my son comes over and joins me...it's one of my favorite things to do and I forget my other problems for a day!

Hey Laura, I'm just outside of Indy as well. I do like the Colts, but am not professing to be a diehard fan, or one of these bandwagoners who didn't give a toss about them all the years they weren't anything special or downright sucked.

They start doing well and everyone is a big Colts fan. They win the Super Bowl and you'd think some of these people have been following the Colts from the minute they came to Indianapolis back in the late 80s and have remained true fans all these years..pffft!

Morningstarr - I want some of your OCD neatfreakishness to rub off on me!!! I used to be that way, but over the past few years, it has worn off. My DH gets pissy with me for leaving things out. Says he doesn't know what has happened to me because I used to be the cleaning/housework Nazi.

Oh Tiff, ya know the older i get the more i realize ur home is supposed to be lived in! it's NOT a museum and that's what makes it home!
And trust me, u do NOT want OCD! YIKES! My hubby is terrible OCD and he drives me mad! One day i'm gonna take a picture of his closet to show u... ha ha It's definately controlling his life and has for a while... I dont' sweat the small things, doesnt' mean but a thing!

I just like knowing that if somebody showed up at my door unannounced, I wouldn't be embarassed to invite them in because of a messy house. But as for things being perfect, it is unattainable for me!!

I think my hubby has OCD, seriously.... I will lock the doors at night, and he will watch me do it, but he ALWAYS has to double-check them all. He will unlock the door, open it, close it and then lock it back! Drives me freakin' crazy!!!

Maybe someone needs to sneak some Prozac in his food, as it is prescribed for OCD!!

I don't think they make enough prozac for my hubby! ;)
Although he IS getting better about it with age or since he's figured out if it doesn't bother me all that much then do it urself! lol

My husband is a die hard colts fan..Has been since the Harbaugh days. Unfortunately, I am a big football historian, and know waaaaay too much about the ownership of that team back in the Baltimore days..Never mind the fact that they just up and left Baltimore in the middle of the night, breaking millions of hearts..The owner of the Colts in the 50s and early 60's was such a gambler..He ended up floating in a river in Pittsburgh..They think it was a mob hit.

FACT: I am a serious NFL historian, I can out-rule any man, and know my facts back to the 1800's. I seriously am planning to write a book. It will be dry and full of facts and no one will read it, but it will be mine!

Wow that's cool fins!! I mean it...I like to watch football but really don't care who wins...it's how well the game was played...:)

I currently live 20 miles west of Indy...for all the Indy people here..LOL...but I have to cheer for the Bears if my son is here..otherwise he wouldn't come over...

Sometimes I think I am OCD...I'm not saying my house is perfect 100% of the time...but I do live alone so there isn't anyone else here to make a mess....hhhmmmm...you think that means I can't even share my life again..not sure how I would feel if someone started moving my things around...

I understand what you mean..I hate people touching my stuff, everything goes where I put it, and don't leave anything on the counter. I also check burners to make sure they aren't on. I hate disorganization..It seriously upsets me. And..I ALWAYS have to know exactly what is going on..step by step..Or I can't cope.

I guess you guys can't come over my house! Its disorganized, but we know were stuff is!

lawn...funny thing is, I don't care what other peoples houses are like or how they live..doesn't bother me a bit. I have a friend who is very disorganized and ew joke about it all the time. It's just my space, etc. that gets me crazy...LOL

I'm evil...I like to just move one little thing...maybe turn a mug upside down, but something back in the wrong place...just to make her nuts!

Lawn, You sound like me. I do that to my FIL's wife all the time. I am a neat freak and completely organized at work. I have given up at home. Used to be really bad at home but raising all the children, I had to give up in self-defense.

Sometimes at nite I like to go for drives...I'm talking 12 or 1am! Just around town or into the next town.

That's cool. I put my dogs in the car at all hours of the night and drive around and see what kind of "action" is going on! :wink:

I wold get arrested for that in my town and the drive would only take five minutes because it is so small. If you are out late the police think you are up to something. Good thing is you either get badge number 1,2 or 3..just kidding, but the town is small.

Roxy..I can sympathize with you...I work nights..went to the ATM at 2 in the morning..and our local police car was watching me all the time I was there. Like I could break into it! On second thought..maybe he was just watching to make sure no one robbed me of my millions...ha! ha!

Me too...especially "Michael" he's nice though. I had drove up to the one ATM in town and could not reach the machine (I'm too short) I got out of my car it was running..then the door locked and shut. So... I am standing there lucky for me I had my cell phone in my pocket..called the police dept. Michael came (nice to look at )unlocked my car and was very nice about it. Just laughed even though I had a trail of cars behind me..a little embarrassing...well..it came across the police scanner and since I work at a school they all heard it over the radio. This IS a small town..can't keep anything you do a secret here!

Atleast they were nice and something to look at. Ours are more like bubbba's. I got pulled over and the officer said..I know your husband. SLow down or I will give you a ticket next time. I thought he called and tattled too. I pay my car pmt and ins...my husband has nothing to do with it :?

fact: My cat is so large...not fat...it's all love, baby....he has to use a small dog carrier when we take him to the vet. He's 20 pounds of love!

I love shoes. I could spend all day buying shoes if I could afford it.

wow, I love shoes too!! I really love flip flops in the summer, and leather boots in the winter.

Fact: I do not wear heels. Ever. I am not even 5'1 and am petite, but no way will I wear them. I am waaaay too **** about my running, I do not want to mess up my arch. But they are so cute, and ****y! When I got married I didn't even wear heels, I wore bedroom slippers. No one could see them under my gown anyway!

My husband hates it when I wear my flip flops. His eyes cross but I enjoy wearing them because I have to wear pumps to work every day.

I love hats!! I hardly ever wear them...LOL...but I have 7..I'm not talking baseball caps...I just think they are cool...but my daughter laughs at me so I don't wear them..she says I will be the 80 year old chick walking around in my tight jeans and hats!!!

I am going to either color my hair or put highlights in it tomorrow.

Ohh i got mine done yesterday and got the nerve up to cut it short! And ummm... it's SHORT! YIKES! The one thing i like is it only takes a couple minutes to do but will take some getting used too i guess. Although i do love the color and highlights!

I got mine cut Friday. Shorter layers but it still falls below my shoulders. I love my new stylist. He did an excellent job.

Fact: I sometimes watch Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel, even when my 4-yr-old is not around. My husband caught me once and gave me heck for it...lol.

One of my friends fessed up to doing it as well, and she doesn't even have kids!

LOL..I think we need to see pictures of the new hair cuts!!

I had my hair cut 2 weeks ago and hate it!! I am letting it grow out again and finding another place to go for sure.

I can't walk in shoes that don't have backs to them...like flip flops or clogs. The way I land when I walk is uneven & I always end up with the heel off the shoe so that throws me off balance & I'm on my butt before you know it!

No Ang, he can not dance..but i will bet he laughed all the way to the bank and is still laughing. Hubby and I took ballroom dance lessons...one of us has two left feet and it was not him....I quite after five.

My dad is always trying to get one of us girls to take ballroom classes with him. Mom just laughs at him!
