Fact: When I was a kid, I had the Muppet Movie soundtrack on LP. The song "rainbow connection" sung by Kermit THE Frog can still move me to tears. Someone should re-do it.

My Dad and I used to watch them too..Remember how Fozzy and Kermit did the news? I used to think that my Dad probably found that so fascinating, since he liked to watch the REAL news!

yeah, I am going to go out and buy the whole entire muppet show series...one day when I can. I used to laugh and laugh and just thinking about them makes me smile. :D

Must have been a Dad thing becuase we watched them with my Dad as well...and we only had 1 tv and he had control of it.

I went to see the Muppet Movie with my mom and my sister..It was wonderful! Wow, I must've been 5 or 6..

and you still remember, nice. good to have treasures like these.

I have a lot of happy memories, I had a great childhood. It breaks my heart when people neglect or abuse their kids. Makes me sick. I don't understand how someone could not love their child.

I did too...and thank you both. My dad is gone so any time the memories come back it is special.

It always amazes me where how these threads develop and move in different directions.

Isn't it incredible? LOL, think of all the time we have spent together tonight! This is a rare night off for mr, no football practice, and I'm home alone, except for a sound asleep 8-yr-old.

My house quiets down about 7:00 - 7:30. Hubby gets up at 2:00 so he goes to sleep early and I make the youngest go a read until 8:00..then life is quiet.

My life is never quiet!!

my hamstring is really bothering me, so I am not training for a few days, probably not all week. I'll probably get fat. SIGH<< I still have to lift, though.

MY kids go to bed at 8 and I catch up on my shows when they are asleep.

All I ever watch is football..I am watching a game right now, can't you hear me yelling?

I would like a vacation for myself, alone!

Although i never watched Muppets with my dad i also lost him in Feb of 05 and some days feels like yesterday then other days feels like a life time ago! :(
I miss him terribly! Especially when all this went down with CACH and i couldn't call him and ask for his advice. He was my rock!

I lost my mom in Dec. 2001 she was my best friend and I also miss her soooo much. She would be proud of me though for finally standing up and saying enough to the pdl's. She hated them so much.

My middle sister isn't my birth sister...she' really my cousin, but my parents adopter her when she was about 6 years old because her mother was a druggie & her dad (my uncle) was an alcoholic-so they let my parents raise their daughter. But we were always raised as "sisters".

Ok, so i got this new haircut and i'm not sure if i like it yet! I've never been so indecisive about a hair cut. Usually i either love it or hate it, this is one minute i like it the next minute i can't stand it! ARGHHH!

My oldest daughter is not my biological child... i adopted her when she was 18 months old so she's never known anyone else as her mother but me. (of course she does know about her biological mother) She and her siblings never even think about being half. They ARE brothers and sisters!

I am going to go get highlights on the 20th. MAybe an all out color.

I wish I had the courage to do some funky colored highlights.

I started my new job today and I am worn out!!!! and guess what? another job called me today making more money and would you know it, i have no car. the job is further away from home, so i had to turn it down :( but that's okay i do have a job and the hours are a lot better.
