Be very careful of Interim Cash AKA Cash Today Limited or ICS. This is the toughest payday loan company I have ever heard about. What type of business they do? They don't give out any paperwork or loan statements. Instead, unauthorized debits are regularly done by them. If you have a loan from this company, you must close your checking account first. People say they will steal your hard earned money and make you short towards other necessary bills. Never give out your personal information while dealing with Interim Cash or their alias.

Well the debits from my account always say Interim Cash Ltd., as well as the email correspondence I have had with them. I only borrowed $200 a few months ago, so thankfully it's not a huge amount, but no amount owed to a pdl is a good amount.

I did notice on their website that there is not a "login" option like most of the other websites have to view your account info., and there is also no "Contact Us" section, yet the top of the page says they can be called 24 hrs. a day, or they can call you! Yeah, right!

And that was me posting above. Something needs to be done with this site as it keeps logging me off even after I hit the check mark to remember me! It also showed me as logged in but yet didn't show me as logged in when I posted.

Oh well. This is d-townmike. Hey, I'm just trying to get some points but the site won't let me!

I listened to the interview and was basically feeling like I was screwed , because like this lady, I've been paying the $79 every two weeks for a while now. I emailed the company and asked if they would allow me to make 4 payments to pay this loan off once and or all, and had not heard from them, and tomorrow is pay day.

I just called and of course spoke to an Indian/Pakistani gentleman in the UK and asked how much they planned on taking tomorrow. He says they've set it up to take the 4 payments I requested, which surprised me. I know that I've definitely paid them back way more than $200, but it was my fault for getting mixed up with this company and being so desperate and naive, and I am going to have to chalk it up to a learning experience, an expensive one at that. I am still very surprised that they were even willing to let me just pay it off in 4 payments. I thought they'd say it was either $79 every pay period or the $279, which is standard for them.

Anyway, thanks for the info. and the heads up. This board has been a godsend.

SO YES WITH EVERYTHING THERE IS A FEE EVEN WITH THE BANK ACCOUNTS. Not for nothing, but this is a board where people come together to discuss financial issues. And while we are all happy that Mr. Gershfield is out of the payday loan business, I think posting things like this not just about him but also women who presumably had nothing to do with his business interests is sleazy and reprehensible.

Nothing ever completely goes away on the internet. There is always a cache somewhere. To think that someday one of these women's children might google mom's name for fun and come across these awful statements is disgusting.
