I would suggest looking up any company you are considering working with on the Better Business Bureau's website. You can see how many complaints have been filed, what type of complaints, how many were resolved, etc. This is a good starting point. Also, make sure the company thoroughly answers any questions you may have, and provides written documentation (i.e., contract, payment schedule, fees) for you to review before you agree to anything.
