Perhaps, you should sit with a debt counselor and know your options in dealing with the financial issues. He will call your creditors and work out payment arrangements. Do you mind telling how much is your total debt? Find some of your options if you are considering a debt management program.

It always seems like there are too many needs in life when it comes to money doesn't it? I (and many others) can relate to your situation. You are a registered member of this site and that means a debt counselor will be calling you and you can discuss what your best plan would be for your debt. Good luck, keep your chin up---life won't always be like this.

Once you have discussed your situation with a debt counselor, you can start feeling better about picking up the phone and advising your creditors that you are involved in a debt counseling program. You should be able to get them to stop calling by giving them the name and phone number of your counselor. Some may not stop calling until they actually receive the proposal from your debt counselor, but eventually, you'll have your peace of mind and your phone back again! :-)
