I receiced a call from someone representing united cash loans and 500. She told me that they where going to garnish my wages if I did not pay them today. I told them I could pay something on the 8th and she said it was needed today. What am i going to do.

You need to send the a revocation of wage garnishment. This is a letter that states that they can't garnish your wages. A lot of times they say whatever they can (scare Tactics) to scare you into paying. Do you know the laws on pdl in your state? Some states aren't able to loan in each state.

She's blowing smoke out of her you-know-what. First of all, they cannot garnish your wages, beacuse a garnishment is a court-ordered event, and they are operating illegally..I don't think they are licensed to lend anywhere anymore. At any rate, their interest rates are illegal as hell. No judge in the world is going to award a judgement to an illegal company.

They can attempt to use a wage assignment, though. I have never heard of United using one, but they are becoming very common. This is totally revokable as of 1986. All you need to do is type up a letter saying as of this date you do not authorize Any and all wage assignments. It doesn't have to be fancy, make sure you include your account number if you have it. Also, you need to give your payroll dept what is known as a letter of defense. This is the same exact thing. Make sure you discuss it with payroll and tell them what's going on..Any good HR rep will know exactly what it is right away and will know that you can revoke it. It's best that you move quickly though..You don't want one of these, they don't take percentages, they take it all. Pm me if you have any questions.

Block the company with your bank because they will take away your money before you see your paycheck. United Cash loans is a DBA name of Rio Resources. Presently, they are doing a lot of illegal activities through one of their alias names MTE Financial.

They will make unauthorized debits in your bank account as long as they have the access. If you can close it now, they will not be able to suck you dry. File your complaints with the legal authorities in your area and get them investigated.
