I am in need of contact information (address or, preferably, phone #) for SJM Marketing and Premier Processing. I had this info, but due to Hurricane Katrina, I no longer have access to it.
Thanks!!!!!!

I tried this number yesterday. This is actually a financial company not the Paragon Company. Does anyone have a phone number?

hma, your bank will be able to track down these companies as they have their transaction code. Explain this problem to the supervisor and request his assistance. They might help you in blocking the company from making further debits. Later the companies may call you after not receiving money. Get the statements of this account before you pay them further.

SUCCESS AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After calling every number I could find on the internet for SJM, Platinum B Services or e-payday and having NO success, I TRIED 1 MORE TIME!!!!!

This number has always had a phone company msg saying it was disconnected BUT yesterday a guy named DUSTIN answered "Platinum B Services, this is Dustin, how can I help you?"!!!!!!!!!! Well, I about fell off my chair! In a matter of minutes, my account was zeroed out and if I find that not to be true I will definitely post again and let you know.
THE NUMBER IS 1-866-722-2770.

I wish you all good luck. I did not have my paperwork and had been dealing with this since January 2005.

thank you flying cats. Has any dealt with express cash? I'm having the hardest time that company. On June 26 I received this email Heather,

This was in regard to a $100.00 cash advance from Xpresscash.com,
currently Whistler Holding. You received the funds on 10/31/03.
However, after a review of your payment history from earlier this year,
I have decided to close your account with us and consider the matter
paid in full. You have no further obligation to make any payments to
us. I apologize for any confusion or concern generated by the previous
email and I will see to it that you receive no further communication
regarding this matter.

Thank you,

William Mashburn
Express Cash
Accounts Receivable
Phone: 800-859-6439x270
Fax: 800-757-8373

Then on July 3, 24 & 31 they took out $60 each time total $180.00. I????????ve contacted them by phone, email & fax and nobody will respond to me. What should I do? Please help me.

I've been calling the above number for a week with no response to my messages to schedule a payoff and now I'm one day away for my payment to come out of my bank account and no one has contacted me so in response to SJM services above this absolutely feels like a scam and it isn't easy to contact your company to schedule a payoff and I have never received any e-mail or paper work in reguards to this loan this not a good company to deal with.

I had also taken a payday loan for $250 from SJM Marketing earlier this year. Due to illness I was unable to continue the payments and now they have a guy calling me at work saying they are going to have me arrested and put in jail, they will contact my employer and have me fired and also my landlord to have me evicted. He said he will downloand all of my information and end up in court. I have asked to make payments on this now $700 bill but he said no and refused to work with me. He said his name was Brian Adams from Premier Business Services. I just gave him $200 but he said he will call again tomorrow. HELP!!

It is illegal for him to threaten you with arrest and tell him that you will not be sending anymore money unless you see something on paper. All those threats he is giving you are very illegal, he is just trying to scare you into sending the money very fast so they can move on the next victim.

I have received a loan from SJM in February, they have taken hundreds out of my account and I had no way to contact them. I then went on maternity leave and they continued to make their deductions, since I had my hands full I didn't pay much attention until I recently returned to work and figured out just how much they have taken. So I had no choice but to have a stop payment on SJM and then ended up having to close the account. I am at this moment getting calls from a woman from Bass & Associates telling me that they are going to file fraud and a bunch of stuff if I don't send $775 dollars by 2:00 today. What should I do? All I wanted SJM to do was call me so I could pay off the loan and I thought by closing the account they would've called.

I have no idea who this company is, or do I know why you are taking $60.00 a month out of my account. Is there a way I can stop this? This has been going on for quite a long time. Please contact me, or I will have to dispute this withdrawl and it will not make any of us happy!

Thank you for all the info in this forum - thanks to what I've learned here, I was able to call both these companies, say the things mentioned about how much I've paid in, asking for debt validation letter, fees paid, etc. - and got BOTH companies to write off the balance - so I am now out from under what my desperation and stupidity got me into.
Thanks everybody

For SJM Marketing, I called 1-866-722-2770, ext 104 and spoke with Dustin - first he offered to just charge me the principle without any further finance charge, then when I asked for debt validation, told him how much I thought I'd paid in total, asked for confirmation, he asked me to hold, them came back and told me he would mark it paid in full, and gave me a confirmation number. (Oh, and his email address is ddernier(at)platinumbservices.com, NOT dustin(at)platinumbservices.com like their phone message says)

RE: Arrowhead Investments, I called 1-866-355-7308 and asked for Liz or Katie (apparently the 2 managers). Liz came on, I told her my situation, asked for the documentation, she put me on hold, then also came back with "I will mark it paid off, and send confirmation"

So, hopefully this is the end of these 2 money pits that I got myself into - thanks to all the good advice on this forum!

: I have compiled a list of addresses for pay day loan places that I am including in our BK. Some of these places flat out refused to give me their address and I had to call back repeatedly and keep reminding them that the BK courts *want* to know their addresses so they can receive the appropriate paperwork.

: What really galls me is their refusal to give their mailing address. Why is that? Ashamed to admit they might be breaking the law by running an illegal operation? Do they figure that if they can not be contacted they are exempt from being included in a BK? I think any time that someone wishes to utilize a pay loan place they should ask for the company's mailing address, fax number, phone number. What is especially shady are these 'services' that find the best pay day loan for you. Companies that want to hide their mailing address, in my opinion, lurk behind these services. ICS is especially guilty of this practice. It took me a half dozen phone calls to finally get a mailing address!

: I will never use these places again. They prey on desperate people and advertise themselves as offering a 'service' to avoid bounced check fees, eviction, utility shut-off, etc, yet make it virtually impossible to repay one loan without having to reborrow.

WOW, thanks for the post, I have a few of these I need to get info on next week, I wasn't sure how to go about it. How long between you borrowing and not paying back? Did they hassle you alot?? What reason did you give them for not paying them back, and did you stop payment on the checks, how did you stop them from going to your bank? sorry for all the questions, this is the only part I'm extremly upset about, I too wish I would have NEVER gotten involved with them, there is just no way to pay them off!! Thanks Ren

Hey all of you guys - I've never done a payday loan but i know some people who have. Haven't you guys heard of a "Class Action" lawsuit. These guys have probably broken more truth-in-lending laws than breeding rabbits. Some lawyer would take this case on a contingent basis. If they are in the business of loaning money, then they have to be "BONDED" - meaning they have insurance money you can collect. Stop allowing Rip Offs like this to take advantage of you. Get together and file a class action lawsuit against them.

Please be careful with this company. They leave you only two options: continue paying refinancing charges forever or if you do like I did and tried to get them to contact me - the first payment I missed they tried to press charges against me, malicious intent to not repay and want me to pay 600+ dollars for a 200 dollar loan! I tried to get a hold of them to pay my loan off and I made more than 5 (involuntary refinance charges.) I am sure the contract said they would refinance 3 times and then the amount would be required in full.

I have defaulted and made a partial payment. Of course, the collection agency is now starting to harrass yet again. Threatening messages. She has given me two different amounts due. What actual action can they take?

They referred me to I-collect - which in turn farms out the accounts. Is it the collection agency that needs to validate as the woman I am dealing with doesn't speak English very well and is extremely threatening. Her message this morning - if you don't pay - you know what will happen

I tried to get a stop payment for premier processing because I could not find out how to contact them to pay off the loan, but my bank couldn't put a stop payment on it but was able to give me a phone number to call and set up the payoff. They said I would only receive the instructions when I first got the loan and they don't call anymore after that so you could pay the interest forever and they would not call you I guess unless you closed your account and they would find you for collections then. So finally I am able to pay off these payday loans which are a big ripoff of your money and the interest is outrageous and they really get to the poor people who has no choice if they are really hurting to pay their bills. There really should be a law to stop them from running their business. Their number is 816-283-6200 but I don't know where they are located. Good Luck!

"Another one bites the dust", I am in the same boat as everyone else. I took out a $300 pdl with them, can't find the contract anywhere, and they have collected $1080 from me and won't stop until I pay them the $300 back. This is what the supervisor told me today.
