Hello,

i pulled my credit report today. As it turnes out my credit is 23x90. From wfnnb/bendel. I don't know who that is. I neer been there. And now it is ruining my credit. I tried to call the numbers that posted on the web and cannot get through. When i press 0 twice, the automated system is hanging up on me.

When i pulled my credit on 02/15/2005. Wfnnb/bendel was not there.

I want this to get it off my credit report.

Can anybody tell me how?????

I called the credit agencies, they got no # for wfnnb/bendel. I tried looking on the web, no # either.

Is there any other way ??????

Hi Guest,

Welcome to the forums. Please get a copy from all the three credit bureaus to compare the said entry.

Experian at 888-397-3742, Equifax at 800-685-1111 and Trans Union at 800-916-8800.

If you have been denied credit, you will get a copy of your credit report totally free of cost.

Most creditors report valid debts to all the three credit bureaus but there is no complete assurance of it. So it is very necessary to get a report from all the three bureaus to check if the debt is genuine.

If your other two credit bureaus are not reporting the said entry, you have to dispute the error with the agency reporting it. They will re-investigate within 30 days after receiving your letter and notify you about it.

Regards
Roxette

I have had three charges from the World Financial Network National Bank Credit Card ARC on my debit card and am getting really pissed off. I had never even hear of this company before I had found these fraudulant charges on my account. Is this how they help other people get out of debt? By fraudulantly charging others and hoping they won't notice?

Just wanted to say thanks on getting the # for WFNNB. I have been trying to fix my credit with this for over 6 months. It does say it the # is for Goodies but they handle WFNNB accounts so they will help you if you explain why you are calling. Just get past the automated system. They were VERY nice and helpful to me. They gave me the inhouse collection phone # and told me who was handling it. Be patient with them and they will help you out. :D

Hi sgdh

Welcome to the forums.

Please write a letter to WFNNB and dispute the entries by highlighting each of them. They need to provide you the explanation of each of these entries in writing. If they are unable to provide you any report of the investigation done, they will have to contact the bureau and get the following items removed from your file.

You can also send a letter to the credit bureau with the same request. If you don't get a result of the investigation done within 30 days, the disputed entry has to be permanently deleted from your credit report.

Send all your correspondences through certified mail with return receipt requested. This will keep a record of all the dates on which you took the required actions. Hopefully, you should get positive results from this investigation.

Regards
Roxette

they left me a message saying if I didn't get back to them by Dec 13, they were going to take further action. Will that be charging my bank acct? They have the number from me making phone payments with them. Can they do that?

Hi Andrea

Welcome to the forums.

If you owe money to WFNNB, it is necessary to pay them as early as possible. Try to make an arrangement so that you don't have to go through the actions that they can be legally taken. Stick to the plan otherwise the arrangement will no longer exist.

If you find difficult to tackle this problem, you must take a professional help.

Roxette

In the process of buying a house, this old bill showed up on my credit report. I called the number I found on this web site and they told me, "they cannot take payment at this time." To which I replied, "you have dropped my credit score 58 points in the last month because of this and now you can't let me pay it?" The woman on the phone said, "that is correct it has not downloaded into our system and therefor we cannot take payment. It may be tomarrow, next week or next month before we are able to take your payment."

My question is - Is this legal? Can someone affect your credit score/report then tell you that they can't accept payment from you?

Ruzi, talk to the superior of the company. The bank will not accept payments from you only after the debt is sold to an outside collection agency. If they have your account with them, they should be able to accept payments from you anytime.

This woman on the phone does not sound professional and it's a waste of time talking to her. Ask for her superior and get more info about your account.

I filed bankruptcy over 3 years ago. Two of the accounts that were included were of WFNNB. Those accounts show that they are delinquent in the amount of $0!! Those accounts are what is stopping me from getting a loan for my house. I have tried contacting them over and over again but am given the run around. What am I to do??

Hi Jeanene

Call WFNNB at 1-800-695-5316 / 1-800-224-3114. Most of their phone lines remain busy, but I expect that you will get through this number.

You must also inform your bankruptcy lawyer about this situation. WFNNB has to remove that item from the credit report since it has no purpose to stay there. If you want, you can place the same item on dispute with the credit bureau also. They will get the item verified with the company.

I received a collection letter from NCo Financial Systems Inc that is that has something to do with WFNNB Clark and I have no idea what this is. I believe this to be identity theft or fraud. What can I do about this.

I tried to contact the phone number on the letter 866-576-1447 and it apparently is another country because I was transfered twice and then hung up on. I sense a scam is going on.

Any ideas what to do?

Jenkins, dispute the item with the bureaus and request them to get the information about this account from the companies. If you are sure that this account does not belong to you, you need to contact the fraud department of the three bureaus and notify them about this incidence. Show them proof of your identity that confirms the account to be invalid. If you suspect identity theft, file an affidavit with the local sheriff where this account was opened. Provide all the copies to your creditor explaining about your identity theft. They will correct your file status.

I have the ACTUAL phone number for WFNNB, they are a subsidary of Alliance Data Systems.......you can reach their DIRECT phone at 614-729-4000 then hit #3, it is NOT a toll free call, keep that in mind, but it does get you DIRECTLY to WFNNB, and not any twist and turns for each individual company (WFNNB has credit cards for TONS of companies, like Victoria Secret, Express, Dress Barn, etc etc etc.......each one has a seperate division inside of WFNNB)

I received a letter from this company and it said my account with WFNNB Clark was purchaced by them. I have never had an account with Wfnnb Clark. When I call the phone number on the letter it appears to go out of the country and then they hang up on me. How can I get more information on this.

kaloha21, it won't be a good idea to hide from your lenders. If you have taken a loan from the company, you have to pay them back. If you avoid, the total amount will reach sky high with all the interest charges and fees. I will suggest you to talk with your lenders and see what they have to offer you. I am sure they will work out some arrangements as you are keen to pay your debt. We all went through the same situation and have been able to put things under control. You also need to deal with your lenders with the same positive approach. Give a try. If this doesn't work, use some professional help and talk to a counselor

You sent me a bill for returning an item which I would gladly pay but not the interest on shipping returns this is ludicrous. Nobody attachs interest on returns especially within the thirty day agreement. This is my second notice to you and yet you continue to bill me each month another $1.00. I am contacting my Atty State General of PA., and the Better Business Bureau in regards to these frivolous charges. I would appreciate if you can come back with a quick reply to put this matter to rest.

Thank you for your quick response and if I must I will to to the CEO's if necessary.

Patricia, How hard did you really try to contact this company? You are completely in the wrong place. Maybe you should pick up the phone and try calling them as well as e-mailing them. How can you even say you will go to the CEO when you have not even made any real attempt to contact the company you are looking for? This is an awesome website for people looking to give help and get help on debt issues.

nco finacial systems is a bpo for you that hv no idea what that means they handle accounts on behalf of all the other companies, they have offices internationally, so as to it being a scam, always ask the agents what law they fall under, the correct response would be the fdcpa, 3rd party collection agency act.
if that isnt the answer you receive, ask to speak to a manager. the corporate number

1 800 220 2274
1 800 224 4000 is the legal dept
