I don't know if this will fly well here but I thought it would be entertaining and interesting. The point of this thread it to learn one thing about another.

The way this is going to work is that your first post will contain one piece of information about you. Each time you click on the thread to read others responses you will need to add another tid bit and so on.

Remeber. Anything you post here can be read by others and this isn't meant to be some deep dark secret confesions! It's meant to be carefree and fun.

I hate my fil's wife..as some of you already know. She is mean and greedy. (She is not my husband's mother) Thank god..but for some unknown reason she loves me.

I also have a mean vinidctive streak...I wanted to relax one night, they came over and wanted to go to dinner so I chose Chinese ..buffet...she hates chinese and she hates buffets (I knew that when I chose the restaurant). Sometimes I find myself doing things like that when people irritate me...and yes, it will come back to haunt me someday...but in the moment it is so worth it.

I prefer dogs also! I like cats too and was never a dog person until I met my ex fiance's parent's dachshunds and fell in love with them. I have 3 dachshunds myself-1 full size and 2 miniature. One of the minis is fat enough to be a standard though! Sassy is 7, Lucy is 2, and Abbie is 10 months. :) I know that I will always have dachshunds in my life as well. I don't know what I would do without my little babies!!

KISS rules! The concert was definitely worth the money!

fact..I'm a nascar fanatic. I was a Dale Jr. fan until he decided to go to Hendrick Motorsports. Was going to root for Tony Stewart, but that team will be driving toyotas next season..only driver I have left is Kevin Harvick in his Chevy or Martin Truex Jr.
Fact: I was born in Buffalo, NY, but moved to Albuquerque, NM when I was 6...I consider NM my home!

LMK-you are from ABQ? That's my home! We must talk!!!!!!!!!!! :):):) I don't meet too many people from NM!

Ang-I doubt he could fire me for my eyebrow piercing. However, he could find something to fire me for if it really made him mad, you know what I mean? Or am I just paranoid?

Fact: I hate cold weather. I live in Ohio and can't stand snow or ice or any temp below about 40. I miss the desert so much..............

This is fun!!

The only thing I ever read is biographies/autobiographies of NFL players and coaches. I have 36 of them right now and am reading Jerry Jones. Football is also the only thing I ever watch on tv, period.

Also, I detest my mother-in-law. I purposely start fights with her.

I'm a dipper...I have to have some kind of "sauce" with everything. Can't have anything plain. But I hate ketchup..If I go out for breakfast, I dump syrup over everything, including my eggs and potatoes. I dump gravy or mayo on fries, and pretzels get mustard or mayo. My husband says I'm gross..I can't even eat a piece of sliced cheese without dipping it in bbq or ranch.

One of my favorite bands is Blue October. My husband and I went to see them for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I am a concert junkie. So far this year I have seen Godsmack, Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd, Rob Zombie, La Cuna Coil, Blue October, and am on my way to see Blues Traveler in two weeks. I am TRULY a freak about concerts and choose them over any other form of entertainment. I mostly like metal/rock (as you can tell) but I also like some blues.

I love the song Dragula! Don't know what it really is about but I'm guessing a car?? Rob makes great movies.

Fact...I'm being sued for a car accident that wasn't my fault. Lady ran a red light (she claims the green) & T-Boned me on the drivers side & totaled my car (and her own). She claims that I caused damage to HER car when I ran the red light. We are going to court this month I think to settle it...

Funny thing is no one got ticketed & no witnesses. We made it to arbitration so far, but the arbitrator deemed it 50% mine & 50% hers. We both claim a green light, so no way to find out for sure. Next step is a jury. The other side's lawyer wanted to settle for $65,000 but my lawyer (from the insurance company) said no way as that's too high & the other side's lawyer wanted it permanently noted that I was lost & that's what caused the accident (its true I was lost, but I did manage to back track to where I made a wrong turn). My lawyer laughed in his face.

Now we are waiting for our court date, but my lawyer did send the other side a letter asking for a "resonable amount" for settlement. I think we want to pay $50,000 or less.

Luckily for me, its all taken care of by my insurance company. All this lawyer stuff if costing the other lady.

Amazing what insurance companies pay out! For my little fender bender thier insurance gave me $5,000 plus the cost to fix the car! Incredible cuz i sure would have NEVER sued! It wasn't a bad accident at all but did damage my daughter's car! (forgot to mention that part, i was in daughter's car which i NEVER drive) :(

Wow Ang!!! That's incredible!

My insurance company was really generous with my totaled car. The car was a 98 Nissan Altima & the accident was in 2004. If you checked out Kelly Blue Book at the time for the retail value at that point, I should have only gotten $3000. The insurance company gave me $7000! I was floored. Made a nice down payment on a new car so we didn't even need to take money out.

HmmmmLawn....years ago I had a similiar accident...and won it in court..judge said where the damage was on my car no way could I have hit her...she broadsided me on the passenger side and totalled my car...

Fact: I am teriibly afraid of getting lost while I am driving..I always panic if I have to go somewhere I've never been.

I like MIL now, only took 27 years

Confession- I didn't like her from the get go and she didn't like me- but she had a major strok about 4 years ago and is paralyzed. Is pretty sad the way her life turned out- in a hospital bed- so I forgave her and now she says she loves me  I think the stroke affected her mind!!KAren

Right after my son was born almost 16 years ago, outta no where i started having panic attacks. Felt like i was having a heart attack and always happened when i drove... So if u've ever had one as u know, once u have an attack the next time u get in the car all u can think of is having another! It's a vicious cycle, almost like pdl's! lol j/k
The panic attacks left as quick as they came on!
Thanks goodness,
Ang

I can't swim either. I never took lessons and I can only doggie paddle. My mom and my sister can't swim either but my dad is a GOOD swimmer. I am not sure why I never learned.

Fact: I am terrified of snakes. I am so scared of them, I can't even put it into words. If I see one snake anywhere, I will never go back to that location again as long as I live. We have this really nice nature preserve less than a mile from my house where hubby and I used to walk every night. Last summer, I saw a snake there and I haven't been back since and I will never go back.

I think snakes are great..I like to play with them, but I'd never want one for a pet. I'd be afraid it would get loose.

Fact: I am terrified of raccoons. I don't know why, but they scare the sh!t out of me. I saw one trying to climb out of the dumpster at work, and I was convinced the thing was coming after me. They just look so sly, and I know they all have rabies, dirty things.

I am scared of raccoons, too. Actually I am scared of most non-domestic animals!!!

Fact: I cannot stand my hair unless I have a perm. I have to have a curly, spiral perm in it at all times. My mom, my brother, and my stepdaughter are on my a$$ all the time about how much better my hair looks straight but I just can't stand it. I have had a perm I think since 1986 and I don't think I will be letting it grow straight anytime soon.
