As I stated in a previous post, I am climbing out of the payday loan trap. There is one that I can not find any information on, including an email or letter in my files with my account information.

I cant find them on the internet either! I have a feeling it was another name I applied to, but no contact info for Arrowhead.

 dont take loans out from this company
there interest is 782.14 percent If you take 200.00

After reading all of the posts here and being referred to the site to read up on state laws, I sent an email to Arrowhead who I had already paid 565 on a 200 loan. The email included a refund letter and a copy of the Texas state laws. They quickly replied that a refund was set up for my account and faxed me over a document promising I wouldn't complain to the TCOCCC! (which I threatened to do) I thought this nightmare would never end until I came to this website. Thanks to all who contributed the useful info :) And..just got another refund using the same method with e-payday!

Well, I've had 4-sgq, cashnetusa, asap? (blocked from my checking acct, have no way of getting in touch with them), e-payday, paydayservices, arrowhead and cashcentral. I've sent refund requests to arrowhead, paydayservices, e-payday, and 4-sgq and so far have been refunded from arrowhead and payday services with paid in full accounts. Cashcentral's ok, and I'm still checking on cashnet. I have a prepaid lawyer that I called about 4-sgq because they absolutely refused to call me back to set up payments and just kept debiting my account the finance charge. So I'm going to let my lawyer deal with them. My nightmare is slowly coming to an end..

We don't recommend payday loans here for any reason, arrowhead will, like any of the others suck you dry with their $90 fee every two weeks and nothing coming off the principle. If you can't pay them off the very next payday, they are all about the same. With arrowhead I had to get the attorney generals office involved for them to listen. Avoid all of them if you can.

I had someone from "United" contact me today and told me that Arrowhead was suing me from check fraud. I thought "How could this be? The only reason I didnt pay was because I lost my job."
I asked if I could pay it now and he told me that they didnt want my money. He said they wanted to make an example of me. The funny thing is, the guy told me he was calling from Florida. The caller id was a local number. Lie #1. Then he told me he would send out paperwork regarding the case. Toward the end of the call, he told me that they werent sending anything and that he never told me that. Lie #2. Sometimes I wish I had a recording device on my phone like these companies do. I would love to throw their lies in their faces.

I think you actually had a company that I went through recently. Unfortunately you didn't OVERPAY the amount of the loan if you never made a request to pay it in full. Unless you do that, they simply charge you the finance charge to roll the debt over to your next payday & then it's just like you got the loan fresh. Except you've paid the interest (finance charge) to keep it open. You would never be charged over $1000 on an account (loan) you had closed out, the longer you keep the account open, the longer they can keep charging interest. And as I said, all they do is roll it over until you tell them to pay it off in full. (or you can pay down part of the principal (the $ you borrowed) & just pay less each renewal period. If you close your bank account, you will simply get put into collections due to the agreement you signed when opening the loan.

So I took out a loan from them back in October apparently. Every 2 weeks, they took out $60 from my account and by the time I took care of it, they had taken $1020. I know, I know, I am an idiot for waiting so long. So I called them today at 1-866-355-7308 to talk about it. Before I did, I looked up what the state laws are for loan extensions and in Utah, it is 12 (which is apparently the highest in the US). They had done 17 extensions. I told them that and the girl I was talking to got a "manager" on the phone and told me that they will call the account setteled and won't take out anything again. I think that they realize they are breaking state laws with all of the fees they charge and if you call them with the facts, they seem really happy to get rid of you.

I finally managed to get ahold of a human after calling numerous times. I too was in the loop of borrow $300, pay back 90.00 forever, unless you call and tell them otherwise. After paying them almost $900.00, they agreed to settle for 100.00. For some reason, I feel lucky that they did, yet aggravated that they are going to get just shy of $1,000 on a $300.00 loan...are all payday loan companies crooked? Or is it just my luck that the two I'm dealing with are. I'm having the same problem with a company called payday2go. Does anyone know of any honest payday loan companies? Or is there such a thing????

The storefront companies all must follow the laws of the states they are in so I guess you could call them "honest" but I don't believe any of them are moral or ethical because they all just make you sink even further into debt. You have an emergency and need some cash bad, then have to pay back on your next payday, but of course you need that money to pay your regular bills so you have to go back again and again and again. My husband and I have been struggling with getting out of the pdl mess for over 3 years. We finally got most of the storefronts paid off then I went and got these internet payday loans which are ten times worse.

I reside in houston,tx and I too took out a payday loan with Arrowhead Investments. I had another company come in and ACH funds from my account that were not authorized, so I had the account closed due to fraud. Now I'm being threatned that I'm going to jail & that I need to get an attorney. Can someone tell me if this can happen .

Has anyone heard of this company? If so do you have an address for them?

It says in the contract that the $60 comesout of you account unless you ask for them to pay down the loan or pay off the loan. So if you keep waiting and waiting they keep taking and taking. I have used them like 5 or 6 times and not had a problem yet.

Anyone victimized by this company please file complaints with your attorney general, FBI, local law enforcement and anyone else in appropriate authority. The more people that fight companies like this makes the odds so much better that something positive will be done against them. Refuse to give in to them don't be intimidated, consult with your lawyer if necessary. That is what I am in the process of doing myself. I will fight them by any means necessary.

I was contacted today by a company claiming they were representing Arrowhead Investments. Their methods were nothing short of "strong-arm" tactics and threatening, at best. They claim this debt was on behalf of a "paycheck advance" loan. At any rate, they went by the name Jackson Phillips. Has anyone else had any experience with these people? They actually accused me of banking fraud and the amount of the debt is a lot more than I even remember borrowing.
