Is the Star Cash Processing address available with anyone? i am trying to file reports against them.

there is no record of Star Cash Processing with the BBB, who are these people? I have a thread in the payday loan section about them. Star Cash payday loan seemed to have come out of nowhere! they told me they can only communicate by phone. maybe it is because they cannot read? Lol.

The number that was provided is no longer in service is this a scam? I didn't even know I had applied for a loan from these people, but the money came and I needed it but no one ever contacted me it just posted to my account and now I worried as far as how much are they going to take out or when?

shawana, i have no idea if they are a scam or not. i would email them to the address mentioned. they are getting nasty with me. i would rather send them certified mail but i have no physical address! i reported Star Cash Processing to the BBB and my state's attorney general. i assumed this was a loan i have taken out awhile ago (my payday loan days have been over for about a year now) but now i am not so sure. i have no contract at all and i was pretty good about saving them. their name is not at all familiar to me neither.

I just got a deposit from them, too. Anyone heard anything about when they will take it back out and how much?

cindy s, they operate like a payday loan, they will take it out every two weeks. i would seriously close your bank account as i doubt they can be stopped. i have no idea if and when they deposited money into my account. i admit, i had many payday loans in my days.. but seriously make sure your account is closed (tell the manager, it is fraud, which it is) and make sure their ACHs will not reopen this account. there is more info on the payday loan board on this. if possible, reverse the deposit first. if not i would mail it back when it is closed. your bank might say to just block the company, but do not even bother - they will find other ways to come in.

If they just did it, try contacting your bank to see if they can send it back. From reading other threads Star Cash Processing appear to just deposit into people's account without confirming that they have been approved for the loan. If you don't send it back they are going to make a debit on your account on your next pay date.

i agree with pink lady. send it back asap. i still would close the account though because i do not trust them.

star cash processing deposited $150 into mine and my boyfriends account the other day too, if its a scam why bother sending it back? How do they get account information to deposit money when none of us are filling out their applications?

i would watch your bank account after you return the loan.they could debit.if that happens you have to close your account and open a new one.some banks will do it the same day,and if you have direct deposit they can take care of that with the new account,but yes watch for any debits from this place.

ach is the method they used to deposit it and will use to take the money back. your bank will tell you that you can block it but in reality they will find ways to debit your account. i really would close the account and make sure it cannot reopen.

My cousin got a deposit from them on Friday and I asked did she fill out an application on their site. She said the only thing she did on Thursday was go to one of those sites, that have the fine print on the bottom saying they are not an actual lender but once you complete the application it will send it to mulitple lenders. It appears that is how Star Cash Processing is making these loans. They don't have an actual website. I would be a little skeptical of a company who doesnt even do anything to verify just dropping deposits in peoples accounts the next day. She actually went into her bank and told them to send the deposit back.

whats weird with my situation is that in no way have i applied for a payday loan in well over a year at this point.. i am assuming I had something with them in the past and they are suddenly coming out of nowhere (i know that happens, or maybe someone else sold it to them). i know i have no had any deposits lately and they do not know my new account info, so they did not try to take anything out.

These places are so crazy, it just irritates me how so many times I applied for these stupid things years ago with these online places and now my SSN is just floating around in the hands of these idots. I wish I could have an identity makeover..LOL.

i know! my idenity was stolen and i really do blame it on when i was stupid enough to give out my personal info to no name companies over the internet :(

OMG!!!! I JUST SPENT THE $150 THEY SENT ME. I HAVE CALLED THEM FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS TO HAVE THEM SEND ME SOME TYPE OF CONTRACT OR SOMETHING IN WRITING. I HAVE NOT RECIEVED IT YET. my suggestion would be to close your account. it can be done. than contact them the best you can to send payments in for the $150.

I applied for a loan and was told that the loan was sent out to my bank on Friday 6/19 at midnight and here it is Tuesday 6/23 and no sign of any pending deposits from them. My bank shows nothing and they are saying that they sent it out. This has been back and forth for two days now. I think that they are a total scam I am calling back today to cancel the entire thing. Its possible that they might try and take the money back on my next payday which is crazy due to the fact that I have not received any funds. RIP-OFF!!!!!!

It's probably best that the deposit didn't make it into your account...cause these people seem real shady. But I would defiantly watch your account because if they are claiming they sent it out then you are right they might try to take a payment on your pay date.

Star cash processing put money in my account and I didn't apply with then or sign any paperwork. I called their customer service number and it said their office was closed. I'm going to check with my bank. Any other suggestions? I spent the money before checking my account thinking it was a differrent deposit.

They deposited 300.00 into my bank account and i do not know who they are. I am trying to find there phone number as well to contact them.

i don't know who this company is, i applied for a payday loan and all the sudden i have a loan from a totally different company. now i'm freaked out, because i don't want them having access to my checking account

today i got a deposit from the star cash processing that i did not apply for..i called the lady was very rude and said i electronically signed the documents when i know in my right mind I DID NOT..i told her i didn't want the loan and to take it back....they seem very fishy..

we should find out who their ach processor is and complain to them..

i just checked my account a found a deposit for 300 from star cash processing. who do i contact about this who are these people. when will they try to take their money out it was deposit on the 6-25-09 can anyone give me some advise i emailed my bank and told them to block any further transaction with this company until i find out what is going on. what are we expected to pay back and when and for how long. i thought there was suppose to be something that we sign from our back for such transactions.

I just found a 250.00 deposit in my bank account that i never asked for.i got their pn from my bank.i think i will have to close my account and send it back.is there anything that can be done to these scamers?

Could one of their numbers be 888-322-1885? i got a call on my cell phone as well as my work phone from that number. It was an automated "if you are so and so, press one if not hang up".

Star Cash put $300 in my account and when I finally looked at my account they had also taken $90. I called them and they said they will take another $300 plus another $90..wtf... My bank is saying they cannot do anything. I just have to pay them and that closing my account won't help as Star Cash does their transactions by your name, not account numbers. Is there any help out there for dealing with this shady company. They also said when I did the initial application (not with their company) that my e-signature was an authorization for them to give me the money even though I had no idea what their fees were or an opportunity to decline. This is crap!!! Please help!!!

guest, close your account asap. they do go by account numbers (they lie) and will keep taking money out until you are drained. tell your bank this is fraud and close it asap. (make sure their ach will not push it back open). keep going up the chain of command with your bank until someone listens. they can help, do not believe them

On June 29, 2009(Monday) there was 250.00 dollars sent to my account and I did not apply for any money from them. So I contacted my bank and had my acct closed and the say they don't have anywhere to return the money, but they are investigating fraud, because someone else had this done to them, and what happened was, when the person started spending the money, it varified the account info, and then on the same day they received the money, that night, it was withdrawn with all the other money in the account, leaving the person broke, so therefore the bank stated that they will close and investigate this place, because they tried to reach the business at the number provided for Customer Service, and found the number to be no good. The bank is investigating and I have moved on. So don't borrow money online, or give out your info on your account to anyone, this might happen to you, thank GOD my bank understands and it still cost me $28.00 for this mess.

dkah, please report this incident to the FTC and your state's Attorney general. they want a prepaid card from me for them to debit money out on the 17th of July and this is why i told them no!

My bank says they will not do an ACH block or anything. They are claiming that I initiated this because Star had all of my info. I did not initiate anything with Star. I contacted Star and they said you cannot mail payments, they want it via your account or credit card.
