Figured out ULQ is actually Redline Recovery. Wondered if anyone else has had issues with them cursing, threatening and calling after hours?

Not only is Redline Recovery rude and obnoxious, but they continue to call after I have told them 5 times that the person they are looking for no longer has this particular phone number.

I called their corporate office today to file a complaint and was guaranteed my number would be removed. This company has hired ignorant people to man the phones to bully the current phone number holder. If they are so smart and sophisticated why don't they simply check the white pages to find out that a phone number change occurred!!!

I've also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you are still having problems you should file a complaint too.

they called me claiming they are collecting money for a debt I owe to some alarm company. I do not and never have had any kind of alarm system. I was afraid maybe it was a scam trying to find out if my house was alarmed. What do you think?

There is no statute of limitations on how long your creditor can continue to try and get their money back from you. There is a statute on how long they can report it on your credit bureau and how long they can wait before suing you. Maybe you should just do the right thing and give your creditor back their money. I am sure if you loaned someone a bunch of money, you wouldn't stop calling them either.

Send the limited cease & desist as was suggested. Ignore that last post, I sure as heck would not pay for something I never even had and I agree with you about being wary of some kind of scam to see if your house has an alarm system...pretty slick way to find out that kind of info...Check the credit reports too to see what if anything is listed on there about that account and go from there. If they call firmly tell them that you want it in writing and that you have sent them a DV letter then hang up.

I had to fault on a credit card, when my daughter was born. This is my card; my husband has never been on this card. EVER! I was in the hospital for over 12 weeks. This Mr. Lazette called me and was very rude and laughed at me when I told him that I was still paying a little every month (the new min payment is over 300). I try to explain my situation and he told me that we sending to my information to the court system when I live, and they were going to garnish mine & my husbands wages, freeze all of our accounts and put a lien again our home. I informed my husband has nothing to do with this credit card and he told he was responsible. Help, what do I do?

I work at Redline.

Phone number in Getzville is 716-250-4800.
The other phone number listed in earlier post is probably our Alpharetta, GA phone number.
A lot of accounts come to Redline via Resurgent Capital ... usually accounts that have made the agency rounds several times.
Not too many long term employees.

Christy, don't believe this garbage. Your husband is not responsible since he did not sign the application. You wages cannot be garnished until they receive a judgement from the court. Same thing goes for you home or bank accounts, although if you have been sending payments by check, I would close your current bank account since they now have your account information, open a new one and send only money orders.

I have never been so mad in my life, the man called me saturday morning, TWICE before lunch and called me a moran. Then when I asked to direct all calls to my lawyer, he said he was going to call my in laws and my parents. he called my dad and told him how did he riase such a stupid kid who couldnt handle her money..... I cant put here what My dad told him, needless to say I dont think he will be calling back.

So, REDLINE is a buch of rude, hateful bullies, who as far as I can seen work off of commision, and a vulchers!

Redline Recovery is trying to collect a debt of mine but I'm not sure which one. They called my mother-in-laws brand new house number. She just moved from DE to NC a few months ago. Before contacting me they contacted her at her new number. She calls me and gives me the number to call back. She said the left a message on her machine stating that the call for me, from a debt collector!

I was obviously humiliated because she doesn't know about our financial situation. So, I called the number back because I was MAD about them contacting her before they ever contacted us but all I get is voicemail. It just asks me to leave my name, phone number, and account number.

I don't even have the account number because I've never talked to these people! They still haven't sent me anything in the mail about the debt they are supposedly collecting. I guess if they want the money bad enough they will call me.

Thanks, I need to send out a bunch of DV letters. I have CA's crawling out of the woodwork claiming I owe money I don't owe, calling but never speaking to me about what they are trying to collect... The only reason I knew it was redline was because thats what their answering machine said.

In my opinion, if they are trying to collect a debt, wouldn't they want to talk to me about it.

Also, They called my mother-in-law on the 6th of this month. I've still yet to receive anything in the mail from them as well.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have a story of a successful resolution of a debt with Redline Recovery? I've only seen negative things about them, and just wonder if there is anyone that doesn't despise them or has had a good experience.

No, he never signed anything! They said my credit was not good enough to have it alone so they added him on the account to make it joint. However, he never approved it and he never signed it. So, what do i do, I keep fighting with them and stil say he is joint! HELP!

REDLINE is very rude. I know they have a job to do, and I am sure they hear alot of bad things, but treat people the way you want to be treated. I never raised my voice or got rude until he called be a stupid moran. Then I went off on them and told to not call me anymore. WHat did they do? They called my parents and insulted them and then called my inlaws and was rude with them.

Guest27: Next time you talk to them ask them to send you the contract your husband signed to be put on this card. When they say they can't then say in a nice voice, "Well then I guess he isn't a joint user now is he?" What is the situation with this account anyway, are you talking to the original creditors or to a collection agency? Is the account defaulted or current?

REDLINE RECOVERY IS A VERY BAD COLLECTION AGENCY.
GEORGE ALVAREZ IS NOT MY HUSBAND JOHN ALVAREZ.
IT IS A DIFFERENT PERSON WITH A DIFFERENT SOCIAL SECURITY.
NOW west asset management IS CALLING MY HOUSE EVERY DAY HERE ASKING FOR GEORGE ALVAREZ EITHER.
I'M SURE REDILINE RECOVERY IS RESPONSABLE FOR IT.
REDILINE RECOVERY COLLECTORS AND WEST ASSET MANAGEMENT COLLECTORS ARE WRONG!!!
MY HUSBAND SPEAKS FLUENT ENGLISH AND THEY CONTINUED CALL HIM GEORGE.

I am having the biggest issue with this company, they took more money then what I auth. and now they are taking forever to send me a check, No one knows what they are doing, when I finally got ahold of someone on the weekend the girl was not smart enough to say her ABC's, she was also very rude, demanding and tried to talk to me like I was her child until I finally yelled at her. When I call to check on my overpayment they just transfer me around until I get some weird voicemail message for someone I do not know. Also they told me that I could settle my credit card bill for half the amount, I set up payments and they had the total bill spilt into two payments... I am so irritated, and pissed off..

Due to my own stupidity, I've had a couple of accounts go to collections and I have to say that Redline actually treated me with dignity and respect though I felt as if I deserved little. My agent treated me well. I know it's usually a rough experience having to deal with them but I just wanted to give my $.02 as the process was as pain free as, I guess, could be imagined in cleaning up an old debt

redline recovery 1-716-250-4800. Called my home the other day, Asking for me. My BF answered the phone, & the person on the other end said that if I did not call them back that day, they were going to call every neighbor around me. I just said goodluck with that one MY neighbors don't even know me. I do not mingle with my neighbors,I have to much stuff to do for that monkey business. I did however call the number back & got put on hold for like 10 mins so I guess they did not want to talk to me really bad. This "chopshop" collection agency with low class, uneducated, illiterate speaking employees are nothing to be concerned about. record their conversations, get their fake names, times and hours they call per day and put together a petition to file a court lawsuit.

I strongly believe they are a dishonest company, with no professionalism whatsoever. You should never pay this company a dime of money they are trying to collect from you. A serious, legal corporation would NEVER employ employees as these people. They sound like they employ people off the street needing a job to swear and curse - thats their purpose.

Record, File it, Petition and I guarantee, the dirt you will find on this company.

I had previously had these people calling me and they kept hanging up as soon as I answered. When I finally got a real person on the line to talk to, they were looking for someone I don't even know. The told me they would remove my number and not call again. A couple of months ago, they started the same thing again (calling and then hanging up). These people need a class action lawsuit so big that they go out of business.

Florida is a 2 party state. IE both party's have to agree but in redlines case that have already agreed to be recorded. If you call their number one of the very first things it says is that this call may be recorded. So right off the bat they have a strike not to mention in FL it is legal to record biz calls and if the recording is not intended to be used illagly.

have them send the settlement agreement to you BEFORE you pay anything, and then send them a money order immediately. But keep in mind when you settle, you will likely get stuck with it on your reports probably for the full 7 1/2 years, unless you bargain with them for a paid-for-delete letter

Redline Recovery sold my debt now to Creditors Interchange. The original card is FIA, MBNA, Bank of America??????. Who ever it is now! World Card Service was going to settle at 2100.00 of 13,500 my original debt was a little under 8K. After they tacked on the over limit, over draft tripled my percentage rate. Well, after months of trying to pay the minimum payment, I agreed to the settlement of $2100.00. However, they wanted it settled by that afternoon. I told them if they could give me a week, I would exhaust every avenue to get the $2100.00. Nope! Would not work for them.

So they sent it to Redline Recovery, now to Creditors Interchange. Creditors Interchange said they WOULD not settle. I explained to them, that my husband???s hours have been cut and I have been talked to part time. Nope, they did not care. What do I do now? I am waiting on my income tax returns so that I may pay them something. However, they said they are not settling? I know this is my debt but this has gotten way pout of hand!

Do not admit to anything when these people call you. Do not give them any personal information. Ask for their address and send them a debt validation letter with a certified return receipt. If they cannot prove the debt is yours you do not have to pay these people. You can also send them a letter saying not to contact you and that you???ll work the debt out with the original creditor. Once you send this letter (certified return receipt) they are not allowed to contact you. If they do (keep records of times, dates, names), you can file a complaint with the Attorney General???s office. Read up on your rights! The Fair Debt is something to become familiar with if you have any delinquent accounts!

My grandmother calls me today saying someone from Redline called looking for me. Since i never heard of this company, i asked my grandmother to provide me with the number that showed up on her caller ID. I called the number back and was told to provide my telephone number. i was then transferred to a guy and i asked what this call was in reference to and he stated he need to confirm my SS number. i told him i will not confirm until i know what this is all about. he then hung up on me. I called back and was transferred to this guy again. I gave him my grandmothers number (which is the number they originally called me on) and he asked again for my SS number. I told him i will not provide it until i find out what this is all about and who Redline is. he told me to grow up and began to be hostile with me. He hung up again. I called a 3rd time (Something i would never do) and asked to speak to a manager. the lady then began to ask me a few questions and it comes to be a bad debt from 7years ago. I will not do business with a company who hires employees to talk to people the way he has. this is unacceptable.

ANN MARIE, TICHICA CRAWFORD CALLED WITH THEIR INTIMINDATING CALLS ABOUT AN ACCOUNT THAT I HAD WITH SAM'S CLUB. I TOLD THEM I WAS NOT GONING TO PAY THEM ANYTHING. THAT I WOULD GO DIRECTLY TO THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR. THEY WANTED MY CHECKING ACOUNT NUMBER AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. HOW MUCH PROPERTY I HAD.
SAID THEY WAS GOING TO TAKE ME TO COURT IF I DID NOT PAY. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC AND THE CREDIT BUREAU, AS WELL AS THE BBB. I HOPE EVERYBODY REPORT THE UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE TO THE AUTHORITY.
