I need phone number for united cash because they keep taking money out of my account since july 2006 and i only borrow 300.00 please i know someone out there has there number.email me back email address removed as per forum rules - Mike

Try 1-800-430-2740, but I truly do not believe they will stop. You will have to close your bank account.

If they are affiliated with Rio Resources, then definitely close your bank account! They have been ordered by the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit to Cease and Desist making loans and any loans that have already been made are null and void.

Chizhy - Your post from the other topic (redundant) pasted here - Mike

I found out United Cash Loans was issued a Desist and Refrain Order in California in August as well. I contacted the California Dept. of Corporations and they reviewed my documents, and informed me that said order was still in effect and that my contract was null and void. I called the company and left messages upon messages and NEVER got a return phone call back. I revoked my ACH authorization, which made them mad, then my bank took back (as far as they could go) the past debits. Now they are really mad and have just tried to get the full amount out via a "draft" which I NEVER issued. My bank has advised me to close my account and report them for fraud, which I am doing as soon as I get off work. Had I not checked my bank account on line today, it would have been to late!!! Report then to your local authorities!!! This company is a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They just issued me another loan last week. Since reading these forums, it seems I'm owed about $2000 from 5 different companies and the loans I have outstanding should be paid in full. Can anyone locate a link for the Cease and desist order? I think I need to go to my bank today.

I am mystery shopper and one of my shopping accounts is internet cash loans. I was told my money would be deposited last night. Now I get to this page and read the Horror stories. I applied and was told my money would be deposited last night after midnight. I check it this morning and it is still not there and now I see all of these unhappy customers that had to close bank accounts because of poor services. If this is true I will report this to the Webmaster and the better business bureau

Yes, united cash loans is a rip off. Their interest rates are a crime in many states. However, I have used them in the past and have not had an issue. The paper work simply says you have to call them 3 business days before the term of the loan, one week or two weeks, what ever you agreed to and tell them you want to payoff the loan. They will debit the cost of the loan and you wont owe another thing. If you never tell them you want to payoff the loan they will continue to "renew" the loan for the original interest rate until after the 4th renew where they will start charging the finance charge plus paying down your loan by $50. Now, they probably call you every week after you payoff the loan, saying you are approved for another loan and they are sending you money but all you need to do is get on the phone with a supervisor and tell them to put you on their do not call list and NEVER sign new paper work and you wont owe anymore money.

I UNFORTUNATELY use to work for UCL when they FIRST started the comapny. I think there were maybe 12 people that ran it, and I was one of them. I had NO clue what they were in to and would ask TONS of questions...which basically made them start turning against me. They advised me not to answer certain kinds of questions over the phone, my supervisor would degrade our customers when speaking to them, ran thinsg kind of funny to avoid any legal action being taken against them. Needless to say, I warned all of the customers I came into contact with and left the company. I really didn't think they were doing anything illegal, only unethical...until I read some of these comments about the cease and desists. I didn't always have the internet or a computer so didn't have the means to warn everyone...but now years later I am in a class that prompted me to review this situation again.

The truth is taht Michael is right. The procedure he described is EXACTLY the way you need to stop the loan. It says it RIGHT in the paper taht you sign. Make sure you read ALL fine print and every other part of the contract. Your interest rate does vary based on when you start your loan too and they are insane...like 200% or more sometimes. They don't look at taht though. They look at the set amount you have to pay back per what you borrow. So if you REALLY need the loan, try to hold out a day or so until the timing is right. It's best to request the money right aroudn the time you are getting paid if I remember correctly because that gives you more time up until your next pay day. That reduces the interest rate. Most people don't need money close to their pay day though. :( So good luck to everyone...and make sure you READ!!! This is a company that tries to bank on the ignorance of people in a crisis situation...they EXPECT you to be desperate for cash and to just sign without reading and never review your contract...or they hope you are to stupid to understand it. I know those are harsh words...but they come from the mouths of those that truly run that place, and you need to know the truth and protect yourself.

UCL is only one of many companies that are run by the same individuals. They practically own all of those internet pay day loan companies. They can actually see if you have a loan out with another company of theirs...and sometimes they'll deny you based on that...while others will just laugh and approve it. They have so many different names for their sites to target different audiences and for tax purposes. They actually had a site at one time called beermoney.com and people actually used it. :( They also screw over employees and don't actually pay them over time. They pay them from over time hours under a different company name so they don't have to pay them more and they don't tell you until AFTER you get the small check. They are disgusting people...but I am pretty sure they aren't doing anything too illegal...just HIGHLY unethical. The banks want to regulate them...probably because it could take money out of the banks pockets.

Look up pay day loans and wikipedia and it actually explains everything pretty well.

read the terms before you sign. they do this because you didn't pay back in time. if you read the terms instead of being cash hungry you would've seen that.

I got a loan and was screwed with-in 3 days. They hit my accout 3 times before the origonal due date. I don't know if I should have someone pay these guys a visit. I have money owed to me that I could be let go if they do me a favor instead. It seems to me they could do a fine business without the rip off factor.

class action suit is the only way to go if anyone out there has any qualms about infilicting physical injury. I mean that in a metaphorical sense. I would never, and this is for the record, not break any arms or legs or crush a windpipe or do any type of spinal injury to some one who ripped me off

I made my loan on 9/11 for 300 and here I am on 9/14 and no money has yet hit my account. I looked all over the app and found no number to reach them so I decided to surf the net and found this page and boy am I glad I did!!! I immediately called the numbers listed above 800-354-0602 and press 1 and actually spoke with an agent and requested that my app for the loan be discontinued and supposedly they did, but I'm not taking any chances and going to my bank before anything happens. I could almost kick myself for lettlng myself be taken in a moment of desperation. If you find yourself in such a moment, speak with the parties involved and more than likely they will work with you I know that's what I'm going to do. Pray I'm right.

Rici, a lot of people WANT to pay off what they owe to UCL, but UCL only wants payoffs on THEIR terms, plus the outrageous interest rates; they haven't the slightest interest in working with their customers. Too, on their website they've shown "testimonials" from customers in States where they're illegal (which is just about everywhere), so they're misleading people into thinking they are a legal entity. And if you tell their representatives that your State government/AG says they're illegal, THEY will say the government doesn't know what it's talking about - in short, they are out-and-out liars.

Does anyone have a physical mailing address for United Cash Loans. I did a really stupid thing and took out a $300.00 loan from them - paid back $825.00 - and now they are harassing me for an additional $175.00. I closed my bank account last June to stop the debits from my account. I was contacted at work (again - after repeatedly telling them not to call me at work) for the $175.00. I will pay them this money to get them off my back - but I WILL NOT give them anymore banking information. I just filed a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission and will be contacting the NYS Attorney General. Any help is appreciated!

you need to file complaints against them every week if you can. Complain to every agency, BBB, AG, FTC, ic3. This company is one of the worst. They think they are tribal land and can act like bullies. from what you are saying you dont owe them they owe you. so I would start by demanding a refund from them. You may end up with a PIF just to get rid of you. lol...

i agree, file reports to anyone and everyone who will listen to you.
NYpatti - you overpaid them by so much and payday loans are not even legal in your state.. try a search on this page or the BBB for a phyiscal address. do not pay them the money! since they are not legal, you do not owe them a penny more. they actually should refund you for what you overpaid. all you owed was the principal amount borrowed.

Ok, I have read in a couple of different posts that all loans issued from United Cash Loans are now null and void. I take this as the loans are void, they are not valid. I called the Oklahoma Consumer Credit Bureau and asked this, if in fact all are null and void. The woman who answered said yes but then said someone like we can do anything because they are on an indian reservation. So I want to believe that she was telling me all loans from them are no good, that they are owed no monies. But I got sidetracked with the other issue about indian reservation land and forgot.
So, can anyone tell me if in fact this is the truth or if it just falls under OK state law (only loans in OK are null and void). I have asked for a bill or a statement from them, something in writing and every time I do the fellow gets defensive and starts making threats, that I owe $75 interest per month for x amount of months and that at any moment someone will buy my debt and charge me the full amount with interest which he says is something around $4000 +. Now if I did owe this to them why would they just want to give me the discount pay off that they are supposedly able to offer via stimulus money from the government? I then say I may be able to pay off with 3 or 4 installments and they say okay but then later tell me that my account might not be on his desk, that someone may buy it. If I were to pay in installments this would take at the least 3 weeks. But they act like I only have hours to spare before it is all over, before I will owe the big bucks.
Sorry if I am confusing, I am trying to type this and get ready for work.
Should I call their bluff? Is any of this that they are telling me even true?
Why do I have to hurry and pay today but then they will take installments too? Sounds like they are trying any way they can to get money out of me because I do not legally owe them a dime.
If someone can sort through my message and offer me up some advice I would be so very grateful. I am so sick of double talk from these people.
Thanks so much for your time.

these loans are still lillegal therefore you only owe the pinciple borrowed.take any so-called fees and deduct that from the balance.these people live on double talk.it's their only weapon as they can't do a thing.file AG,and FTC complaints against this bottomfeeder asap.
