I received a voicemail today from a woman named Kathleen Robinson with United Cash Loans at 800-410-9275. She stated that I needed to contact her today by 5pm to avoid further processing. When I called the united cash loans phone number, they answered. Has anyone spoken with this woman and is she really calling from UCL or does she really work for a CA representing UCL?

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't locate that united cash loans phone number but the company has the following DBA's. It is located in Oklahoma and is also under Rio Resources.

UnitedCashLoans
Quickest-Payday-Loan.com
Your-Approved-To-1000.com
1000 Payday Cash
Emergency-Cash-Loans.com

Found another one located in Nevada. You can look that up through the Better Business Bureau

Shbear,

United Cash Loans are conducting illegal activity. They are not licensed to lend in the state of Nevada or Oklahoma. They have committed alot of violations. This is a common threat with United Cash loans. Make them aware that you have knowledge of their non-licensure. What state do you live in? Do not let them intimidate you through phone calls and other tactics.

This group is not a member of the BBB. They are not accepting any mail at the united cash loans mailing address, only by faxing or emailing the company. They have an unsatisfactory record with BBB. The United Cash Loans phone number as listed by the BBB is 800-354-0602 fax 888-570-9772

These laws just basically tell me that a payday lender like United Cash Loans can loan money in Texas and charge fees at a certain amount. It doesn't tell me if they are licensed to do business in Texas.

I have hit them with the validation letter 3 times and they are not paying attention.

I have been trying to get rid of telmerica wwwcashnow and they are so rude. I found out they are not licensed in VA and so I called them and let them know that I already paid them $302 for a $200 loan and I want my loan considered paid in full. However, the person I speak to says they are licensed, etc. etc. She then lets me to speak to her supervisor who I go through the same conversation with and she says that I took out the loan illegally since they are not licensed in VA. I told her that no I have found out all this information since I took out the loan. Thank god for this site. I was transferred to the main boss who of course is not in and I had to leave a message. About 5 minutes later the first lady calls me back and says they are going to take the full amount of the loan on Friday. I said oh no you better not and when I mentioned being not licensed again she said lets not start that again. Anyway is there a letter I should send them or something that can revoke my authorization to debit my account. Please help as I am desperate.

Contact your bank and let them know what is going on and put a stop on the debit. They are not going to admit if they are not licensed to lend and you are not the one who took the loan illgally, they are the guilty ones for issuing the loan to a state they are not licensed in.

Yeah I finally got the bank to put stop payments on all 4 loans including United Cash Loans. They only made me pay for 1 so that was cool. I just hope that this stops it and then I can consolidate all my bills but I still haven't been contacted from this sight.

United Cash loans is conducting illegal business. They are not licensed to lend in the state of Nevada or Oklahoma. They have violated several laws. You will not be put in jail. You need to file a complaint with the Attorney General and Consumer Affairs in your state and the state of Nevada. Where they denied the loan then turned around and deposited the money in ny opinion, you do not owe them anything.

Leeba

To make your point stronger against United Cash Loans, the application date when you were denied must be earlier than the date on which the money was deposited in your account. You can use this record while sending your complaint to the AG's office.

You must also inform your bank and explain the complete situation. If they get aware of this situation, they won't allow the company to debit money from your account.

As soon as the $65 is back in my account where they tried to use a check, they will definitly be getting a letter from me. Bad part, bank said it could take 5 to 7 days for it to be returned! UGH.... No I have 2 idiot PDLS to deal with instead of one! Though I only had Route66 now this butts have showed back up. Hmmmm if they took money out of my account, then I should be able to "log into" my "account" on their sight, huh? May have to check that out when I get home!

They called again yesterda, but just to my cell at least (not my work that I know of). They were persistent but no more threats. I told them I would NOT be threatened any further and explained about the police and atty general. I asked again for something in writing, and he told me that they LEGALLY can not send anything in writing to my home address, that they can only send a fax....give me a break. Then I also received the below email from them along with a note saying I could take out additional funds....does this mean they are considering this PIF or are they just trying to get an auth on my new bank account??? Just copied a couple paragraphs...

I cannot even believe they are still trying. I had united cash loans, they were one of my first PDLS almost 2 yrs ago. They were the first I defaulted on, a year and a half ago. I really didn't owe them much, and never could get in touch with them..I never heard a word, until about 6 months after I defaulted, I got an email very similar to that one. Be careful with these guys, they are sneaky.

I'm in the same position with United Cash Loans right now. I took out a loan for $300 with a $90 Finance Charge. They have debited my account now for a total of $450. I called and talked to someone in collections today and they said that I still owe $405. I live in North Carolina and I don't want to have to pay these people one more penny when I have well paid the $300 that they loaned me. What do you suggest that I do? Should I close my bank account? I'm worried because they have my work telephone number :( PLEASE HELP!

I would say you have already paid off your loan including the interest allowed by your state. Another $450 for a $300 loan, no way. Close your checking account if you have to otherwise they will take your money out. Also don't worry if they threaten you with criminal action, you can't go to jail for not paying a payday loan.

I want to thank you for your advice. I did talk to my bank and they strongly suggested I close my account as well. This will be the VERY last time that I ever use a service like this. And to think that I just needed a loan because for the first time I was short on money  These people are terrible and I'm very concerned that they will start calling my work, but at least they can't take anymore of my money!

I've never dealt with United Cash, I have heard they are real a$$holes. But you are right, they can't take anymore of your money. Did you file complaints against them with your Attorney General's office yet? If not, I suggest you do that also. Another piece of advice, should they turn you over to a collection agency that goes by Bass and Associates or Bass Prelitigations, IGNORE THEM! And just laugh when they say you are going to be arrested.
