If they aren't a legitimate
If they aren't a legitimate company, how are they able to take people to court? They call my job at least several times a day. They leave no messages. I finally received a letter regarding an old debt, but right now can't afford to pay anything.

You sound like you work for them. Clearly you aren't reading some of the posts here. While some may be valid, there are some who aren't. Being a grown up has nothing to do with it. If you can't afford to pay it, or they don't want to work with you what do you suppose one should do????
