I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

jms,

First, I would like to thank you to come up with such an important topic.

You're not alone on the deck; lots of people are there who have received the same letter. Nouveau Tech Society is listed under ???Con Artist??? category in ripoffreport.com. Nouveau Tech seems to be closely related with e-book dealers.

The victims generally receive an invitation mail first. It asks the person to join their society to gather some true knowledge without any cost and the individual is requested to reply the letter.

If the receiver replies to the first letter, he gets the second letter with a brochure attached. This letter is more descriptive than the first one and contains an order form.

If the person orders the book, he keeps on receiving offer letters endlessly.

The most unfair thing is that these books are available in some libraries for free and their market price is much lower and those who have already bought the books have a really bad experience since they are not better than a paper weight. Just think of a paper weight for $130!

If anyone wishes to share some more info, please post here.

Bryan

P.S. According to BBB, Nouveau Tech Society has aliases Neo Tech Publishing Company, Novatech, Novatech Society, Novus Tek Invitation Processing.

Hi Jms

Welcome to the forums.

I did a search about Nouveau Tech Society and found that many consumers have already got ripped off. They will offer with some lucrative deals on making billions of dollars by spending little money.

I was just wondering that before offering such deals in the market they should have first used it and become millionaires.

Kevin Trudeau sends all the newsletters to the consumers. My friend bought a book from them and wishes to reveal all the secrets once she becomes a member. A membership fee along with a monthly fee has to be paid for it. Then, all the questions can be sent to him through email. I heard that a question was sent 2 months ago and still waited for the reply. Hearing these strange facts, the more I hear about them, weird things start to surface.

I just received a letter myself and I am very skeptical myself. But since it said it was free and I didn't have to pay anything I was going to do it, but I had to get on the net first to see what others had to say. Thanks for these comments now I know it is a scam. If nothing else the letter was flattering.

Yes I received one of these letters today - Oct 3 2005.

It certainly was creepy!. Did you notice that this was a secret - but the lady signed her name.

I have no plan to do it either. But will try to find any other info on the Internet I can.

I also received a letter Monday, October 3, 2005. To me it had the undercurrents of witch craft. I will burn the letter in the drive out side of my home.
Glad to read all of the response.

I also received a letter today, Tuesday, October 4, 2005. And, as in the comments I've read, I was very skeptical. Someone mentioned Kevin Trudeau, what is his involvement? FYI, these letters can be presented to the Postal Service as scam letters and they will be forwarded to the U S Postal Inspection Service who investigates these type scams. They can and often do shut these type of operations down.

I was sent a letter from the secret NTS and then I got on the internet to find this. Not sure waht to think of this, but i do know that the book Natural Cures is an awesome book to read and it is too bad so many people really have no clue what the government is doing to them. You poor souls. As far as the Nouveau Tech Society I won't waste my time.

I received the letter from Nouveau Society. It seems to play on everything that you want for yourself in life, though when it kept repeating about it being free, I was skeptical, which led me to the computer to check them out, and that is how I found your site! Anyone who promises you anything for nothing, usually ends up wanting lots of $$$$$.

i got one of the letters and it was very flattering, telling me how i am so special and all. Ha Ha, funny people want to tell you that when they have no clue who you are at all, and somehow they knew i was poor and broke, so why the hell are you soliciting things to us poor people, they want to make us even farther in debt.

The one thing I first noticed on the invtation is that they said the letter was first class --however it was mailed bulk rate.

Thanks so much for responding, everybody - I got a call at my home and nicely hung up on the guy, then about a week later got a letter in the mail. Once I looked on the internet and confirmed that it is DEFINITELY anti-Christian, in addition to obviously being a scam, I'll tear it up, curse it in Jesus' name and throw it in my outdoor trash. I don't even want it in my house!!

Like the rest of the messages previously written I questioned this supposedly free letter which really said nothing of relevance to anything. therefore I did research on the internet and read the letters. Yes, I have thrown the letter in the trash without responding.

I recieved this scam letter from the Nouv. Tech Soci.. When I looked up on the internet about this scam I found alot of people like me had bought the book by Kevin T. "Natural Cures". When I went to their website their claims sound alot like the book claims of how dishonest our government is and how they are holding back all this information from us that could make us healthy and wealthy! They also blame the religous right and the liberal left. Well at least this scramers give equal blame opportunity!
Tell everyone you can tell not to buy the book from this people or respond to any letters from them. Write to your local paper in letters to the editor and get information out there. HELP STOP THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also received a letter today from the Nouveau Tech Society. (October 4 2005). When I first started to read the letter, I was very skeptical. They really know how to peak your interest and make you feel like wow, what do they really know about me. The words absolutely free made me go to the internet. I am very glad I did, because I was going to send it back mainly out of curiosity. I thought it was a scam, now I know. I am glad I checked. Thanks for your site.

I figured that the letter had something to do with Kevin Treudeau because it repeats itself over and over just like he does in his book, Natural Cures. It is really sad that a somewhat legitimate cause such as natural healing and living clean gets so tangled in such "hoodwinking" of unsuspecting people. In his book, he chants over and over, "Follow the money", and it seems that it flows in a direct path toward him. Shame, shame, shame!

Like the rest of you, I received a letter from NTS on Oct. 4th. I am so angry about the mention of GOD and healing people belonging to "Freud discovering these powers buried within a handful of people with unique talents" and not a "faith healing" in which that is what it is! God is responsible for healings NOT Freud! Thankyou so much for having this site for people to check out cons. About Kevin Trudeau, I agree with you about his book! It's great! I have put alot of his "natual cures" into affect and they work! My son was ADHD and by following a natural diet and herbs, he has been drug free with NO problems since May!!!!!!!The government IS hiding things.

I received my invitation today Oct 4, 2005. I purchased a book from Keven Trudeau and promply returned it unopened but not before I had to pay shipping and handling. This is how they got my address. I am glad that I researched them on the Internet. They are scum I mean scam.

This is all very strange...the letter from the Nouveau Tech Society, all the info on the Internet and the inference that the Natural Cures book is somehow involved. Yes, I ordered the book and I got a letter. Is the letter from someone associated with Kevin Trudeau...or is it from some other entity wanting to cast doubt and discredit him and his claims? Just food for thought.

I figure that it couldn't hurt sending out the free letter, but when I recieved the payment sheet, it finally clicked that they can't be real nor nearly as powerful as they say. If they really analyzed my profile then they would of known my financial state, therefore I automatically knew that it was a scam. Also I appreciate this topic discussion, I am able to make an educated decision about this. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY

I received a letter from these people yesterday and I'm very glad that I did some searching on the net. I doubt I would have received this letter, however, I just ordered and returned Kevin Trudea's natural cures book. They've also charged my credit card 71.40 for something I have never ordered I'm in the process of disputing that right now. I will be taking this letter and the envelope to the post office to put a stop to these sort of scam letters.

Got my letter Oct 4th - had a meeting with some friends and mentioned it. One of them works for the US Post Office. She looked at it and asked what the envelope looked like. I told her it looked like the kind you use for international mailings. She stated that mailings using these types of envelopes are usually chain letters or scams. Ya, anyone who thinks they know me so-o-o well that they can flatter me annonymously truly is a scammer, but certainly no artist!

When I opened the letter this morning and started reading it, there was an immediate red flag because it was 3 pages on both sides telling you absolutely nothing. It's overkill and smacks of a big fat lie, as well as a rip off. Just the name along is enough to make me laugh. What will they come up with next to screw the public? Are people so starved for complements that they would believe something this idiotic?

I received the letter yesterday. Got online to check it out. Thanks for the scam info. I ordered Kevin Trudeau's book on "Cures" several months ago. Cost me $30. I wanted to know natural cures. The book was 273 pages of "Join my website to know anything about cures". The title is deceptive. All it did was rag the government, which was probably true facts, but none the less, he offered "NO CURE INFO" for $30. Very misleading. I was tremendously disappointed with "Natural Cures" and do not trust anything associated with Trudeau now.

I too received this scam letter on 10/05/05. The first thing that made me suspicious was the author of the letter stated he was advised by his attorney's not to reveal his name. Then, on page three, the jackass reveals his first name, "Kevin." For some reason I immediately connected it with "Kevin Trudeau" author of the "NATURAL CURES" book. About two months ago, I ordered the book. BAD MISTAKE! The book is vague and misleading. Save your money, DO NOT ORDER this book. Anyway, I believe this was the first step in getting caught up in Kevin Trudeau's ongoing con/scam. I am very curious to know if any of you who received this letter from the "Nouveau Tech Society," had first ordered the "Natural Cures" book. Or, did you order ANTHING else from Kevin Trudeau's info-commericals. It is my opinion this man is UNSCRUPULOUS and DISHONEST. He needs to be stopped!

Had I not been online trying to some information/website on this "organization", I would not have found this site! THANK YOU for the info here! I will NOT do anything else with this organization!!!
