I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

Hi, other than clothes, I haven't bought anything since Christmas 04; except Kevin Trudeau Natural Cures Book. Either I am stupid or uneducated, cause it is difficult to read and hard to "get into". Wish I had not bought it for loosing weight ideas. Impossible diet tips. Anyway, I too received letter from Invitation Processing; Kirsten Hart, by Presorted First Class Mail. I knew I was overweight, I knew I was poor and down trodden, and I knew I was in need of something uplifting in my life. But unless a person meets you, spends time with you, they know nothing about you except you have a credit card, buy off TV and Internet; and are a potential source of funds. So be careful; we can only let evil in when we allow it in; but being tempted to put others, or ourselves before the love of Christ is a mistake; instead of asking for Christ guidance in all endeavors. Yes we are special. We ALL are God's creation, that is what makes us special. Not any group, society, club or church. Believe in God and believe in yourself. But be cautious in believing all the flattery from NTS. Smooth............

That's the way to use your intelligence Indyachiever and blank Guest. I own a Natural Cures book and KNOW what Kevin says is true (20+ years research). To most others who have replied and want to be quick to assume Kevin is bad: People, people, people, you have been so quick to be skeptics and so impatient in seeking truth that you could end up remaining "sheeple," (sheep-people). I have not done in-depth research on the letter from Kirsten but the short search I did revealed Nouveau Tech is against Scientology while Kevin mentions that some of their methods are helpful. The point is: to protect yourself and humanity you must not draw quick assumptions about anyone or anything just because you are too busy to look further and, like all of us, to some degree brainwashed. If you really want the truth about anything seek and you shall find. Don't believe something just because it's "always been true" or someone you trust says so. Go to the foundation for knowledge. Get to the root. Yes, it is not easy these days to have time but if you truly care about doing right and being effective in leaving a positive mark you cannot just hold to untrue "truths" out of ignorance. Ignorance is not bliss.

When I wrote my first reply I had only read about 3 pages of comments. Now, having read more, I must say READ the entire book (Natural Cures) before you draw a conclusion. If you people who say you sent the book back or gave it away would have read it, you would have gained understanding. He has been personally censored. We do not have freedom of speech in this country if we expose corruption. Goodness always has major opposition on this earth. He is fighting for us against some of the most powerful forces that are trying to keep us so sick that we can't help ourselves or think anymore. Without your health nothing else matters to you. You would do anything to regain it. And that is what some very evil people have used as their plan to develop wealth and control of the masses. Kevin cannot say things about the specifics of cures in his book because he has been threatened and censored. In this country if you do not have a medical degree, you cannot legally cure a disease. So now "they" are trying to label every discomfort of the human body with a disease name so they can have a monopoly on the ways it might be treated. It is unfortunate, but the only way Kevin is able to speak freely is by offering a forum by membership online or newsletter. The best deal is the online membership. And, realize fellow people that he is in the process of setting up the site. He has used much of his own funds to start and keep this personal mission going to help people like you come out of ignorance. His life has been threatened by these powerful people that he is exposing. How could you get creepy feelings about that. He is a person who grew up fast. He learned early how easy it is to become corrupt with wealth and now he has balanced out and become a modern day warrior for the masses as part of a personal mission. He's chosen to get high off of doing what is right. Not living high by being a taker from the ignorant. Someone mentioned a $71.00 fee charged to their credit card. Hello, pay attention people, when you order the book they explain that the free newsletter issues are yours to examine and if you don't want to receive any further newsletters and have a year's membership charged to your credit card you must call within the 30 days to cancel it. FYI: joining the website gives you the newsletter and everything else he has implemented to date for $9.95 per month. I care about stopping lies about good people and truth so much that I have stayed up all night to write this and research and I have two babies who will wake up soon and their needs will not care that I need sleep still!

Oct. 26. I just received a letter in today's mail from these people. "Secret" societies or organizations are something I refuse to deal with. So bells went off on that term, as well as the term "illuminati". Also, the fact that they are anonymous about everything, makes me ask 'what are they hiding for'? I too smelled scam. Also, there is an old saying,"If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is." I am going to give this to the post office, like I do chain letters which I abhor. I am also going to write a letter to the local newspaper. Glad to see this forum on the subject, it reenforced my thoughts on the subject.

I also purchased the Kevin Trudeau book, and I agree he repeats everything too much and gives very little useful info. Also, much of his info is old. It has been around for several decades. Whether or not he is associated with the NTS...I have no idea.

I just got the letter yesterday and they urge me to send it before Friday. I was about to send it back because they say everything is free but I was skeptikal, because as much as they say about knowing everything about me, they didn't know about my love life. I am happily married and they offer to find true love for me which is not at all possible. These people pray on money needs mostly. And if people need love in their lives that takes them by surprise. Beware of things that are too good to be true, they can be.

Since they say this is a secret society, I didn't think I would find any info about them on the net but lo and behold here it is and it's all negative as I just found out. It's right when they say, Too good to be true!!!!

I have also recieved several of these (same) letters.
I knew something wasn't right from the start, simply
because they talk about it being secret.
Letters that say 'secret', always sets off alarms
that tell me to stay clear....

I received the letter today and can't remember ordering anything to get me on a mailing list. I wanted to check them out so I started surfing and came across this site. This letter requires no money but does require a signed faxed or mailed acceptance copy within three (3) days. I was not going to participate before and definitely not now. What a scam! Hope this helps others.

My 80 year old grandmother just got a letter to join the Nouveau Tech Society. Like the other post I read, I knew it looked like a scam. Thanks to those who have posted regarding this topic. Your posts give me something in black & white to show my grandmother.

This is a group or "cult" that believes that all religion, politics, etc.. is of the devil, evil and must be obliterated so that society can flourish. They want to wipe out any type of belief system other than theirs. No wonder they are shunning publicity.

I received a letter too and Thank God they found me in the nick of time... when I'm about to enter cycle 2 (of my 7 cycles)that lasts only 2 weeks. Wow they're good! With their help I can quit my job, read minds, be rich, paint, play the piano, heal the sick, be a trophy wife and have lots of men hit on me and have strangers love me.. and it's all for FREE! They even have the b_lls to use the phrase "I swear on the bible this is all true" and talk about communicating with GOD! Sounds like Haley Bop Comet II is coming by earth sometime soon and all it's members will be on it! SIGN ME UP! RRRRRIIIIIGGGGGGHHHHHTTTTT!

Like everyone else I recieved the letter after ordering the "Natural Cures" book. I found the letter disturbing and I associated it with the "Natural Cures" book since I had so recently ordered it and do not recieve junk mail hardly ever. The other reason was that my name was actually spelled right and that never happens in junk mail but I made sure when I ordered the book that they got it right. I found the book hard to read with all of the conspiracy flying. I do believe that there is truth in saying that the government is covering things up, but I do not want to read 500 pages of that. I was hoping for a catalog of diseases with cures listed. Yes, the book does list some of those things, but who has even heard of some of them and there is no explanation as to what they may be. If you are really interested in reading about cures, how your body actually works, and how the modern diet and medicines effect you I would recommend "The Maker's Diet" by Jordan Rubin. Not only his information stated in clear fact, but it is easy to read and this man has the credentials and experience to back up what he is saying, plus he is a born again christian and believes that faith plays a huge roll in healing. He even includes resource information so you do not have to pay for websites and newsletters to get to the information you really need to know. I've have found this book 200 times more helpful than the Natural Cures book, I hope some of you will give it a chance.

I received the letter, was wondering how they got my name but now I know, I ordered the book Natural Cures. What the Government doesn't want you to know off the television commercial. The book is outstanding but I will shred this "Free Invitation" immediately or like someone else mentioned maybe I should turn into the Postal Service for investigation.

I too received a letter and wondered why I was deemed so special when I know everyone is born for good (they don't all end up fulfilling their calling). I decided to search the internet and was surprised to find so much information on this "secret" society so quickly. I am about to rip their letter to shreds. I pray no more people get duped as I read has been happening.

I received the letter and felt the presence of evil. The letter is designed to affect people with insecurities regarding money, careers, love, general personal relationships, etc. Since everyone person in this world has some type insecurity, NPS figures they're in the money. I gave it to my next door neighbour to read and see if she felt the same way. When I get it back, I will shred it and say a prayer while doing it.

Oh thank you all very much, got the letter today and decided to check out what was on the net about it.. what bothers me is that kevin trudeau seems to be involved with this, I got his book and was quite interested in his cures. the only thing that bothered me was that he did not tell them all but sent you to his web site which then wants a monthly or yearly membership fee for the addittional information. which really made me wonder about his book and his company. now after reading all your statements I feel he has been using people and has made himself very very rich. thank you all again for your information.

I am so sick of these "promise you the world" letters!
As soon as I read this letter it was very obvious it was one of those... if you want to know more buy this other book or log on to my website & pay me more money type scams. I also bought the Natural Cures book which I find very interesting & I do believe it has some good information. You just have to listen to your good sense. No one on this earth is going to keep the secret to fame, forture, success, health & happiness if they could sell it for a million & that is what these people are doing.

I also received the sham letter, I always seem to get a large amount of solicitation and get rich quick gimmicks after I order from these wonderful caring people(Kevin, most recently.) I ordered his natural cures and them found out that he is or was a convicted felon, concerning credit card fraud. I heard an interview on tv that he did and he had to admit that most of the information he says in the book is only what he's read or heard from someone, and not actually true. I do see a strong connection with this mailing. Also Kevin's web site will give you information if you pay for it, which I will not. I hope that the return of his material isn't a losing battle as far as credit refund. I appreciate all of this great first hand information. God is Good!!!!!

I received the letter here in the U.S. I found it laughable. If it sounds too good to be true; it is. I believe that they have attempted some self hypnosis because they want you to read the first 56 page installment at one sitting. They continually repeat that the reader is special, that they will become rich, and that ****y members of the opposite **** will fall for them. They're too late; I'm married to the ****iest member of the opposite****!

I, too, received this letter. WHAT A SCAM!! Although some of it is true, I didn't need this letter to "teach" me that!! So glad I found this website before my one chance was lost forever!! I thought while reading the letter, that it sounded just like Kevin Trudeau! I also bought Nautural Cures recently. I would be interested to know if Kevin actually has something to do with this, or if they sold our names???? WHAT A RIP!!

Definitely a scam and new age.... Anything that only comes with a P.O. Box, and a fax is normally a scam. They don't want you to be able to contact them by phone. Lots of scams on the internet coming from Nigeria. Be careful of anything promising a large financial gain.

I also got a letter from them on 10/25 saying I HAD to reply by 10/28. I also thought it strange that on the front of the envelope is said "Foreign Airmail", was sent from Grove City, OH and their address on the last page is Clifton, NJ. I also noticed that it's supposed to be secret, but a Kirsten Hart "signed" it. I also noticed on the last page that there is an account #. Why would anyone need an account # for something that's supposed to be free? I'm glad I found this site as I too believe it to be a scam. Thanks so much!!

mark hammilton, tracy alexander, eric savage, and fr wallace are the writers of the NT package of insider secrets .All that they make use of is their miss use of knowledge for bicarmal growth and nothing more than the dualistic perseptions of a 2300 jr old mistery(secret),mine goes back way further ,my friend you really underestimate what change is really comming (machine clone evolution is your future),and if i am you ,i would stop ,because you might woke up and find yourself and the selected few blanked out(and be the new slaves) ,Aristrole is long time dead and did not even rise from death ,your sceptisism is your snare -so- beware for the mistism that you yourself use to lead people to false illumination-(ism).Heaven and earth are not the only fruits of the tree of life. You are just another falacey and no fact .sorry my friend .139.00$ it was not worth the wait or critisism .The real message should be of PEACE & PREPARATION . I also have received the letter from the Nouveau society--- after purchasing a lot of literature from Kevin Troudeau. My husband has terminal cancer and we know how much we want to hear of all of the supposed miracles. How sad that people want to take advantage of other's misery. Shame on this group and shame on Kevin Troudeau. What a coincidence that these names are so similar.

This is the response I sent to all my friends and family:

Just wanted to pass on some information to my friends to help them not get scammed. I just received a letter from "The Nouveau Tech Society" in which the state all these promises of great things to happen. They tell you that they will send you this FREE information if you will join their "Secert" organization that will help you and change your life. Well the only thing that can change your life is a realtionship with Jesus. I went on the net, I love the internet, and found that this is an organization that sells you books on how to make money, improve your quality of life, etc, etc, etc. Well as we all know there is only one book that contains that information and that is the Bible. I just wanted to let you all know that this is nothing that you would want to be a part of and to trash the letter before you even read it. It all sounds good and if you are looking to get riped off, then just send in your information and open your wallet. Nothing in life if free except salvation and that's not what they are pushing. Please keep this in mind and don't get taken in by this FAKE LIES.

An author that requires seven pages to sell you on something that should only take a paragraph is someone to stay away from. I too when immediately to the internet to read what I expected to find. That is that this invitation would likely result in more letters requesting money. I am not judging the message that may be conveyed in the books they recommend, but the tactics are questionable at best and may boarder on fraudulent.

I plan on pursueing with my local PO and Police department. I suggest others do the same. We need to protect society that these types of institutions prey on.

I actually recieved a letter from that Nouveu Tech group. Saying something about possessing special traits and really creepy, as you said. Out of curiousity, I did it, silly I realize. I soon caught on when the next installment to all these "questions" was going to cost around $200, I knew it was a scam. Should have realized it sooner, what happens to those people who are more gullable than me. Can this kind of stuff really be legal in our country??
