I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

 My mom is 83 yrs. old and doesn't have alot to do with her spare time (which is all of the time). She received this letter in the mail about her "special gift" and ordered 3 huge books, which she spends all of her time reading. It worries me because now, whenever she says "Thank God" or "What in God's name?" or "God Bless" she follows up with "God, if there is a God" after letting this material get into her head. Funny, when I read the letter I told her it sounded like a cult & then I went on the web site and found that others had the same opinion. I worry about her being taken by these fruitcakes. How can we stop them?

I received the same letter but sent in for the free orientation booklet. The said the info was free but today got the booklet and a form for the second installment which they wanted $139.95 for by tomorrow. So I decided to see if there was anything on the internet about this society. I am glad I looked it up. Yes we all want the things that they say we can have through purchasing their manuscript, but if that were true, no one in this world would be poor, sick or unhappy. Too Good To Be True!!

Yes, I also received a letter (October 18) from the NTS. Secret society in which the lady signs her name, not so secret. Did read like a scam, speaks of God then speaks of gambling, p.s. they do not go together. Lots of "holes" in the letter. Thanks for your in "site" truly helped me confirm what I already knew.

I don't know if the letter which I received was a well thought out scam to deliberately discredit Kevin T's motives or if these shady folks are just trying to get our $$ and don't mind it if Kevin T. looks like the culprit behind the scenes. My instincts tell me Kevin T. is undertaking the biggest battle in modern times (with the FDA/FTC and the "powers that be"), and these people will stop at NOTHING to quiet the message Mr. Trudeau is trying to get out to the public. Pay attention people. We ARE brainwashed by the drug industry and play into their hands when we don't know the truth when it looks us right in the eye. Kevin T. has plenty of his own money, but what does it say for us that we would sit back and think he should totally fund a war against a system so powerful (on our behalf), and we grudge him any support. Are we a bunch of ingrates? We should thank him for his courage and not criticize him for his lack of literary genius.

I got this letter yesterday and put it in my recycle bin. the spooky thing is I cannot find it. I was going to tell my friend about the crazy thing. She said I probably got it because i ORDERED Keven trudeaus book. I was very dissapointed in his book it is basicly a pitch against the fda. It gives no info. only leads you to spend more money. His web site costs too. Funny thin is he says in his book that he cant tell the formulas for health. yet he can do it on his web site if we pay for it. Did you know that he was in prison (fed) for fraud. Now he just bilks people legaly. Also if you watch his add on tv for the book, He is asked a question about a cure for MD. he says the book has it. NOT. on tv he changes the diseas to MS. two entirely different things I wonder why the FDA dosent stop him he cant even get his diseases right.

I received this letter yesterday. I don't even want to talk to about the sick minded people out there. but for those who are tired of scams. I received this letter in the mail about getting people to join your down list trust me it works. the first time was i thought it was a scam. desperately (maybe a dumb risk) I tried it again and it work. I wonder why it didnt work the first time because i didn't do it right. So if you receive a letter with a handenwritten star and Good Luck give it a try you won't regret it

Has anyone actually sent for the 1000 page manuscript for $139.95 and checked out the contents? Everyone is calling it a scam or scary. I too received the letter then I sent for the 56 page orientation booklet. When I saw that I only had 3 days to order and pay for the manuscript I knew there was no way that I could pay for it. Strangely though my one and only credit card decided to increase my credit limit by $250 on the same day as I received the booklet. So voila! I had the money to order it. Also, I never ordered anything from Kevin Trudeau, so there was no connection there with him. I personally like Kevin. I have not yet read his books, but he appears like a healthy, sincere person. I will admit that this offer from the NTS has some contradictions in it. By the way I did order the manuscript. Now after reading all these comments I am wondering if I should cancel my order (if possible) or go ahead and be the guinea pig and see what it is. Just sign me, Reckless!

Ditto on everything above. I got the same letter. Glad I found this site before thinking I was "really" that special to a secret society. I noticed people said it could be related to ebooks which I have purchased recently for the first time. I also have the Natural Cures book which I consider to be very good. While Keven appears to be a fanatic, I think his principles are sound - you just have to take what you need from it and leave the rest.

Oh Darn! I missed my deadline date of Oct 21st to return my letter!!
For whatever it is worth, I've found that the junk mail in my snail mailbox has at least quadrupled since the can spam act. How I wish we had paper recycle bins at our mail boxes!
Now if we can only get rid of the persistant telephone solicitors who insist on calling us and stating they are doing a survey and therefore do not qualify under the do not call regulations. I'm your worst nightmare if you are a telephone solicitor. The last time a solicitor tried to tell me she does not qualify, I said, "you most certainly do qualify because I don't want to talk to you, B_____!"

I will not buy anything with kevin associated with it. He is adv a lot of info mercials

I recieved the letter today. I'm guessing they got our names from Kevin Treudau's company, I ordered that book a couple of months ago. Natural cures is a great book, this is most likely a scam trying to get people like us who want to improve our lives to give them money.

I just received this letter today & decided to check it out on the web. I had previously ordered the book Natural Cures from Kevin Trudeau. Is this how I got this special letter? Is this scam tied to Kevin Trudeau?

I also recieved a letter, felt it was a scam too. As for the book natual cures, they must be partners how els did they get my name and address, I was not impressed with the book Natures Cures, it didn't offer complete or derect cures, just remedies you order from there web site.

I received a letter from these people just today and decided, like many of you, to check it out on the internet. I was so mad to find out all of us had in common the fact that we had all ordered the same book from Trudeau. That guy comes on so holier than thou and I was really trusting what he had to say. I've only had the book less than a week and guess what? I am sending it back and demanding a refund. What a rip off.......I will probably never take another vitamin again [/img]

What a bunch of crap....what is wierd though is how they pinpoint certain personal things about you, like how do they know I had bought Natural Cures? Or that I sometimes gamble? Creepy and I am throwing it away!!! PS> I too think Natural Cures is a good book.

I just received the letter today, Oct 25th. I got a great laugh out of it! Imagine...the society only picks a handful of people from around the WORLD...and they chose little ole me in sleepytown USA because of my INCREDIBLE talents! Right into the trash after I read it to a couple of others who enjoyed the comedy as much as I did. I had to look it up on the computer to try to find out where it came from. I recently bought the Kevin Trudeau book. I haven't had time to read it, but if this nonsense letter is coming from him I might as well throw the book in the trash right along with the letter. The sad part is that some people will fall for such an obvious scam.

Today I got a letter from the NTS and wasn`t sure what it was so I came online to check it out... it lead me to your site... Thanks for having this site by the way, it has been very informative. I also have the book "Natural Cures" and it`s a wonderful book.
I just wish that more people would read this book, then you`ll get to know what the government is doing to us. Shame on the Government.

I found the letter to be too flattering to be sincere.
It was too "lets get rich quick" and too good to be true. I have received their letters in the past and ignored them...as I will this one!

Boy, what a bunch of hocus pocus words in this letter. I think there is a link somehow to Kevin Trudeau's book. My husband say the infomercial and ordered the book "Natural Cures". It took forever and after lookiing through it, we gave it away. This letter, I think has some connection. Has anyone else ordered this book (it was a real rip-off in price!). It felt evil to me. Beware of Secret Combinations!

I got a letter from Kirsten Hart. She said I'm just like she use to be. For those who distroyed this mail, the return address on the envelope is 3357 H Southpark Place, Grover City, OH 43123, however, the invitation processing address is P. O. Box 5204, Clifton, NJ 07015-5204. Oh, they have a fax number: (716) 447-7488. I guess you could send a bunch of heavy print advertising faxes to use up the ink. (haha) Anyway, I brought "Natural Cures..." too. I will be contacting them about this coincidence. Thanks for your postings. Maybe we should start a society for letting the cat out of the bag.

I also was sent the same letter. I think it was sent by kevin Trudeau. I looked at his book again and found out that he is into Scientoiogy. Look on page 175 in his new book. He is incurging you to be in that cult. Why can't people keep that stuff to themselfs. I hope people will look on the internet to see that he is running a scam.
