I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

Absolutely Free!Must pay Big Discount by 2/10 or else!Congrats.Who are these idiots? We're all the chosen few.Few Million x $139.95=Alot of $$$$ for B.S.

Towards the end of January, I received their 'introductory' letter, where I send in the reply form. I just received their Orientation Booklet. Of course, there is an invoice included to spend $150 or so on a 1000 page book with more indepth info. If I had $150, I would spend it on the electricity bill, not a book. So, needless to say, I won't be sending that invoice back in with a payment.

I just googled Neo-Tech Illuminati and this forum was one of the first links to pop up. Is it a fact that Kevin Trudeau is associated with this "company"? I just recently bought his famous book - basically it's the same information that has been floating around for years (a lot of it true incidentally) just re-hashed into his own words. Another words, making money off of others' hard work. Well, just for giggles, I subscribed to his website, tooled around, didn't see anything worth the $9.95/mo and had my membership there canceled. Perhaps that is where my name came from for this Neo-Tech thingy?

Again, for giggles, I'll be reading the orientation booklet here in a little bit. But was just curious as to what all this was about.

*sighs* I wish there were honest people out there!

Take care everyone,
Barbara, N.C.

Just read my orintation pamplet, and in it, it speeks of this book bring GIVEN to each of these people in the stories...then why do they want to charge me? I would be more then happy to read the book for free. I'm so happy i'm one of the special few....thousands out there. I don't consider this a cult or enil just a scam for those looking for something better in life like all of us, but this is not it.

Ok, now I understand - Kevin is not directly associated with Neo-Tech Illuminari. It's just that Kevin's company (with or without his knowledge) has sold his mailing list to Neo-Tech.

So, if you have bought Kevin's book via any means (online, infomercial, etc), then his company added your name to a list that was sold to Neo-Tech. Companies selling names to other companies is a decades-old practice. Nothing new there.

I realize that most of these responses are dated for mid to late 2005. But in case there is anyone out there still searching, today I recieved my third copy of the 56 page book. The funny thing is that when I read my mail about two days ago, I realized that I had recieved yet another invitation(probably my fourth). Of course, I chucked it. It told me that my last day to respond before my cycle was over was 2/2/06. When I got in from work today, there was the red and blue envelope again. Either this is a scam or have the longest cycle two in the world

Three Time Offender - that is too funny! They must really think you're special! *wink*

Ok, I wrote out a letter that I am going to be sending them in the mail tomorrow...... It is as follows:

To Whom It May Concern:

Please read this whole letter. It is constructive criticism and not an angry rant.

I received my Orientation Booklet in the mail yesterday. I spent all evening perusing the enclosed literature only to find I had actually received nothing more than well-written ad copy.

On page 22 of the Orientation Booklet, ???Jennifer??? states that, ???You don't need any money to get started or any education or training.??? Obviously, this is a false statement because in order to receive any information, secrets, etc., one must send in $139.95 by February 3, 2006 in order to receive the second installment. So ??? do I need money to get started or not? I did not even receive the Orientation Booklet or Installment II invoice until February 6th, so I already missed that window.

It makes no difference anyhow. It is obvious that your people have messed up. Because, if they truly read my profile (whatever that is!), they would know that I am literally poor and do not have $139.95 to give anyone. What little money I do get is just enough to pay rent, utilities, and food, with nearly no money left over. I am in desperate need of a car, clothes, medical assistance, and more. Not some group trying to cleverly coax money out of the poor and desperate. That is mental abuse!

So, if I am one of the chosen few, please send me this 1,000 page manuscript for free. If it truly will improve my life as your literature confidentially states, then I will more than happily pay for the manuscript and contribute financially to Neo-Tech Illumini when that money comes in.

Then again, I guess this letter is moot because since I missed the February 3rd deadline, ???Neo-Tech Illumini will no longer spend any more time helping (me).??? (page 54) In other words, ???if you don't have money or want to give us money, then we want nothing to do with you.??? I thought your group wanted to help cultivate these special abilities that are dormant within me? Guess that was all just hype also, eh?

I just wanted to thank you personally for preying on, and abusing, the negative situation I am in and my low self-esteem and confidence. You just made my day even worse knowing there are even more crooked, lousy, greedy people in the world.

By the way, I know of a forum online, where quite a few people have received your literature recently. Guess I am not so special and of the chosen few after all!

Yours truly,
Barbara E

What do you think? I doubt it will make any difference though.

OMG,

I too have received the letter more than once as well as many other of their propaganda.

I am sorry to hear that you started to have the nightmares after reading the Nuveau (ect) Tech publication(s). This is not surprising. This is a typical reaction when one has ecountered material with with subliminal intentions. Their material is written with very specific, repeditive, brainwashing words and ideas that that attempt to erode your current faith and current world view so that they bring you into their cult-like groups and convert you the their NWO- they boldly state that they "have formed the foundation of a new matrix" and "are currently forming new illuminati societies".

The material *is* in fact anti-God, they state so on their websites and is clear in their posts covering many other message boards. This is one of the reasons they make efforts *not* to target Christians- although I am not sure how so many of thier letters reached Christians.

Now that you are on their mailing list, be watchful of junk-mail you receive in the future. You are now considered at a different level having actually purchased one of thier publications. They consider you a highly probable candidate, more susceptable to their brainwashing tactics and excited that you can participate in advancing their agenda.

If you are currently weak in your faith, you should speak to your minister. If your church has failed you because of the men/woman are not following scripture, then you can watch 3 very good (but different) Christian ministers on TV- Dr. Charles Stanley, Joel Olsten, and Creflo Dollar, Sunday, Fox 5, 8am-11am.

Never forget, You are what the Bible says you Are, You have what the Bible says you Have, and You can do what the Bible says you can Do. Obey God and leave the consquences to Him. Feed your mind with the mind and words of God and He *will* do want he promises- giving you peace of mind, sound sleep, and open doors and opportunites that no man or money can.

Be stron in the faith and read Roman regarding the "armor" you should dress yourself in.

to the above "guest" ... We didn't buy any of NTI publications. Guess you haven't read much of this thread to understand what is truely going on. Sad. I guess you were just here to spout religion. Nothing I can do about that - free speech and all - but it doesn't say much for you in general.

My apologies to everyone else - not in the best of moods today. And NO - it has NOTHING to do with that NTI stuff. I read the Orientation booklet last night. Nothing subliminal happened to me in any way. I'm no different that I was before reading it. *rolls her eyes*

Barbara,

My post was in response to OMG's post (and anyone else who may find it helpful), not yours. I am *well* versed with the NT*S* literature and their movement. So, I say this kindly, I have to wonder if you are as much. I am also familiar with all of what has been said on the the many websites where poeple have posted responses to receiving the letter. This includes NTS and their many affiliates.

As far as your comment, "spouting religion"... if it was a "spout" I would have the right to do so which you should respect and pass over the post if it does not apply to you or if you disagree. However, if you had not only read the posts on this site, OMG's post, as well as researched who the organization behind the NTS were, you would understand the significance of not only religion, but cult techniques. Only then, you could not have possibly have posted such an uneducated response.

Just because it did not effect you, it apparently did to OMG. Have some respect. People visit these sites to help each other.

Wow...As I read I'm so glad I've found you all. I visited a website and too thought this was somewhat like the occult. As mentioned in my previous post, I have replied by fax and given my address to send this 56 page wonder book. Now I think to myself how stupid am I??

I appreciate everyone's response as now I don't feel as "special" as I did (LOL) and I realize that I was foolish in thinking anything other than hard work and personal goals could do anything to improve my situation.

Deb, you are not stupid at all for having responded! Curiosity is a core human trait, and one that NTS (etc) plays on heavily (in addition to other core emotions/desires).

As far as what you can expect, more of the same junk-mail. The mail you get in the future will depend on the infomercials you have responded to as well as this letter.

You can choose to ignore them or store it away for as evidence for future legislation, class actions, media coverage, etc.

Be well.

People keep saying it's a cult, yet, is it really? I think in all honesty, this is a book of self help for people who are dumb enough or desparate enough to purchase said book, making them feel better about their selves and saying they are skilled, yet I don't condone the actions of the company, and think their method of salesmanship is wrong, and can be considered a scam. As for the cult part, like I said, they aren't luring you into a cult really, since I don't think they tell you to go to meetings(Did anyone with the manuscript run across anything like that?) And, from what I hear, it is anti-christian, but, it's just a way for them to stop believing in God, so you have no hope whatsoever and will buy any crap they tell you to, so it's not bad, persay, just because it's anti-christian. There are plenty of legitamate groups that try to convert you, and (most) don't yell at them and such, just politely ignore them or refuse their beleifs. From what I gathered, they haven't really done anything cult-like,(feel free to prove me wrong), besides gather followers, no sacrifices or weird meetings, mass suicides, etc. Anyways, I'm done rambling.

I recently received an invitation to join in the illuminati. The letter told me to act Quickly and I would receive a 56 page book that would help me understand the secrets. Instead I received a 56 page book that told me the same stories explained in the letter from a week ago. Hook, Line, and sinker.....this book told me to spend $140 just to get the final installment of a 1000 page book that would spell out the secrets to me. I thought I was going to get some answers after sending the letter back. Now they want more? In the stories they tell of people who received this SPECIAL book for FREE....Why do I have to PAY for it? Why can't I get it for free? What a scam. Oh well/ sounded good though!!

I was one of the people who somehow wanted to believe any or all of this. I got the first letter and since there wasn't any cost, I thought, what could it hurt. I got my 56 page book and actually read it. I was considering ordering the book and thought I'd check it out on the good ole internet. Lo and behold I found more than enough info to quickly change my mind. The truth is that we all are special and we all posess the traits needed to be successful at love and money. The special thing we all posess is our mind and how we choose to use it every day. I had my weak moment, thinking that it was something "out there" that I needed when in reality it is in me already. I wish everyone the ability to tap into what's already inside of them and to be the very best that they can be. I will do the same.
Side note, my envelope flap said PIE not LIE - anybody know what this is about?
Many Blessings.

This is the second time I have rec'd a letter from
this "society" after they told me in the first letter, that I would never hear from them again. The
letters are duplicates. It seems these scams are
getting more sophisticated as time goes on, but then
again there is "nothing new under the sun".

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and
no one can come to the father but by him.

My mother received a 6-page letter from NTS recently. It states "Members of The Nouveau Tech Society have anaylyzed your profile...you are about to enter cycle two..." My mother died 2 years ago. I find it ironic that if NTS members possess supernatural powers, they would have picked up on this!

I'm a surfer and a private investigator. As soon as I looked at this letter, I knew this was a scam. However, I am not so sure what these folks are doing is illegal. My dad told me a long time ago, "Son, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is."
There are all kinds of people out there in cyberspace just waiting to take advantage of you. Remain cautious and do not reveal any personal information to anyone over the telephone or on the net unless you are dealing with a bank, credit card company or lender. And, if one of these institutions calls you, call them back before releasing any information.
Take care -

I to recived my bocklet today, and on my envelope it said PIE and the letter was signed Jeff Hansen. Thank God for the internet. I read my booklet this morning and it was on my mind all day and i felt it couldn't possibly be true. Even when I was reading it, i felt like they wanted me to sell my soul.
Like Arthur, I am still curious what this book is all about.

I received one of these letters, and was thinking too , it sounds too good to be true. Different names were mentioned in my letter, it came from someone named John Finn who claims to have some late-nite talk show. Also, mentioned was a Dr. Frank R. Wallace. After finding this web site I now know what the scam is.

I read the entire letter from "Nouveau Tech" yesterday and she smelled a RAT right away. But dispite that, I almost bit. I did send a fax but I don't figure to go any further then that from now on. Somehow I recall that I received one of these before and nearly bit then too. Is there more information out there regarding these scamers?

I got the letter this week 2/06. I felt that the only way to get all these mircles was to sell your soul to the DEVIL! Also I noticed that all these people just "found" or was "gave" this 1000 page book so why does everyone else have to pay $140.00 for it???

I think I've seen it all. Now their are special groops out their but you won't want to join. This Trick is probally very old and since people are still falling for it people will keep making up lies.. I to received a letter and just out of spite to see what they would send for free for me to read I sent the mail back and got a book of dreams.. Because none of that really came true, but if you think about what they say wouldn't it be nice. you read this paper and all you need to do is glimps at it and v-wala you are everything you want to be. Wake up. If you want to be rich invent something. Also on the back of the letter I sent back on the envolope it said LIE...

Which makes sence.. It took a bit less than 10 sec. but that is the secret.. LIE. . . Lie about everything. and you can have everything.. Lie about what you can do who you are what you can do and just hope no one finds out.. You could even sent this same stuff to other people and get them to send it to you thus lie.. It will get no simpler than that..

So lie if it makes you feel better for me I'll just stick to hard work and GOD from now on.. Wake up don't let people use you anymore.. Think>> Is it that hard...

Take care all who read this. Don't let yourself fall into any other traps. Work hard, do you best at life, abide by the bible and god will take care of the rest.. ANd if you be gready and want it all. JUST LIE
like the politics, and a great deal of people on the TOP>.

BYE ;)

To the lady that sent money, call the Post Office for the Mail Fraud reporing numbers immediately and try to get some more information as far as addresses you've been sending the money to. Good luck!!!! Don't be embarrassed, get mad and try to track them down!!!

I received this letter today and it is requesting me to fax or mail by the end of the day today to receive free secrets because I am possess rare traits. My rare trait that really isn't so rare is that I am a BIG SUCKER with a marketable low self-esteem. But, alas, NEVER MORE...to be sucked in by these scammers. I am fed up, tired of being hog-swindled! Bring me your tired and weary eyes and ears...anything that looks like junk mail should be burned at the stake...don't even open it unless you are only looking for cheap entertainment.
