I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

I received my letter a couple of days ago and went ahead and faxed it back to them. I'm just curious as to what they have to offer for free. If they wanted to send me junk mail, they already have my address, so I don't think that would cause more junk mail. I've started doing research on this society and it has references to the Illuminati which I learned about in Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I don't think the true society would have a web page, news column, or anything you could research online due to their secrecy. There are probably imitators of them too (the ones asking for your money). If you send money to someone because they send you a letter with no research, you deserve to lose it! Lesson learned! Don't expect the Post Office or any other government or private organization to stop scams from happening. Most scams are easily disspelled by common sense.

I can't believe for a second that I even had to look up this garbage, but I did (curiousity I guess). I feel for anyone that falls for it. I don't know, my first cycle wasn't that bad, I'll stick it out on my own for the second, third, fourth and hopefully fifth.

I also received a letter and booklet and saying I was entering my second phase and to act now or they couldnt help me.Then received another. However, When reading this booklet and stories there was only one person in that first entry booklet that actually paid. And that was the mans dead mother who past it onto him. Well, I live week to week and I surely could use it.So if my talents and gifts are talented find me and gove it to me, Please..........

I got this letter a few days ago. I get so much junk mail that I don't read but I read this one. It looked so good and well written that it fooled me for a few minutes. And I know already all the shticks. But the repetitions and the ego boosting phrases made me suspicious. Whenever somebody tells me I was "chosen" and I'm "special" and have "special traits" I know it's a scam. When the person called Kevin forgets his name and signs as John I know it's a scam. When somebody tell me I'm in my second cycle I know it's a scam. When somebody tells me I'll be rich automatically, within hours and beyond imagination I'm starting to ask myself why do I keep reading. But this time I did a search on Yahoo because it sounded like a big time scam and I wanted to find out more info and I got to this forum and other sites that detail the scam. So thanks guys.
I liked the Las Vegas story...quite entertaining.
I also would like to thank the posters here, some of whom made me laugh so hard that it was worth it to get the letter and find this forum.
Dear friedns:
This is just crap. Pure and simple. I implore you - don't buy their books. It's just another cult with novel/crazy ideas that do nothing except for the bank accounts of the publishers.

I also recieved this letter, twice. The first time was in January and the second was a couple of weeks ago. What I don't understand is that if I was entering this second cycle, and could only receive these secrets during this time, why send me the offer again a few months later.

However, I too sent for this 56 page book. After reading it in it's entirety, I came to the conclusion that it must be some kind of scam. Everyone of the individuals in the 5 stories came across this book FREE OF CHARGE, made several millions of dollars, became celebrities or such, joined this secret society and now want the net chosen 7 to send in money to learn these secrets. Lastly, their promise of everlasting love with whom ever you desire was just to much to bare. I haven't laughed so hard since I received that email from that idiot in Nigeria that wanted me to send him my bank information so he could wire me $40 million dollars. I don't understand how people fall for these outragous ploys. Commen sense should tell you that if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

I too received a letter that was unsolicited, I never ordered any type of book from anyone, but I do frequent a religious prayer board called the annointed.net, maybe there is a connection...that is a shame. AH well...Here's my psychic prediction...I see myself throwing this into the trash! WOW...

Well in reality we are all very special. Each and every one is a special miracle that happened in order for us to be here. Ask anyone who has been trying to have a baby for a long time and not been able to conceive. It is then that it becomes how very special the miracle of conception and birth are and even more so to be people who are getting through this life with relatively good health. So many things could go wrong...It's difficult for me to believe we don't already know how special we are.
Did anyone realize that each person in the 56 page booklet got their "special manuscript" for free? The one they are asking $139 bucks for? It is my opinion that if such a "special manuscript" is meant for any of us it will show up in our lives for free...given by someone who cares...just like the stories in the booklet.
Good luck to each of you...and God Bless you richly...Spend your money wisely and save what and when you can.

The lure of lustful worldly things: money, power and ****...as much as you want is the premise of this scam. This magical book when just skimming through it or touching it claims secrets and shortcuts to be absorbed by osmosis whether you fully comprehend it or not, your subconscious will sort things out! (Far out man...beam me up Scotty).I first thought maybe L Ron Hubbard was behind this but it's not yet Kevein Trudeau recommends Dianetics in his book. Anyways, easy riches and power, that's what everyone wants right, most people don't want to work hard for a living. There are many flaws that I caught in the 77 pg. booklet. They claim it is ethical yet also claim that you can control people, future events for selfish gain, ****ual relationships with 37 woman who would jump to your becking call, being on the Howard Stern Show, the secrets claimed are scientific methods from 2300 years ago and used by the Egyptian Pharohs... what? (they were evil mystics who worshipped false gods and built meaningless monuments to themselves to contain their foolish rotten bodies with no promise of immortality but only hell), and the god-man prideful image they portray is exactly what the Devil himself would entice you with, to be a god and lord over the world. Evil, wicked and fraudulent. The booklet claims that you will instantly become rich and a genius who can predict future events???(I thought genius' was a gift given at birth). "The greatest life enhancing power on earth!" Wrong! It is the greatest life depleating power on earth. It the power of deception, lies and people will succumb to it and lose. Hellbound is my prediction for thes charlatans!

It is very sad to think that you would associate this Nouveau Society with Kevin Trudeau - had you read Kevin's book you would undoubtedly have recognized there is no association whatsoever - His book is advising you how to have a healthy life without the use of the many drugs the pharmecutical companies are getting the FDA to pass - drugs and foods that are killings hundreds of human beings all for one's greed of profit/riches - He advises how the human body is a miraculous thing and how it can actually cure itself provided the proper nutrients are placed in it....

I recieved this letter today, and I laughed all the way through it, along with my friend, who read it after me. I kept thinking that some poor soul who was having a very hard time in life would actually fall for this out of desperation. I hope that they will check this 'society' out before they lose too much.

I recieved my 2nd letter last week( the first about one year ago). This one came right from Natural Cures Inc. It is very tempting to get the stuff and check it out but I think I will pass just like I did the first time. More junk to throw away.

I received a letter yesterday. It sounds the same as everyone else who posted here. It is legnthly letter that was apparently sent airmail. The return envelope is addressed to Clifton, NJ. I almost feel like a sucker just for the fact that I searched the internet to validate that the letter was a scam!

Hey fellow letter recipients!
I too got the letter and was also told how special I am and how I can receive for free well kept secrets on how to get great wealth, success and total peace of mind. Apparently they are suppose to know all about me but missed the biggie when it comes to really knowing about me, and that is I already know where to get all of that and everything else I need in life and that is by having a personal relationship with Jesus. None of us need to go to this secret society to get the things they offer by paying money. Jesus offers to all who believe in Him, repent of their sin and accept Him into their heart total peace of mind and eternal life! God also says that those who love Him (his children) will NEVER beg for bread. God does and will provide to all who put their hope and trust in Him. I know this because God has proved it over and over again many many times thru out the years in my life. God is so faithful. Anyone who recieves God's son Jesus as his or her personal Savior can have for free what the Noveau Tech Society is offering and in reality cannot deliver. Only God can deliver those things not man. Anyway, don't send money to the Noveau Tech society it is a scam and you will get burned.

I recently received an invitation to join here in the UK. I thought what the heck let's have a go (afterall we all would like to solve our money problems, family health problems - of which my husband has many etc.). Thank God for your site. Just after completing the form with my Credit Card details I was prompted to check on the net to see if they had a site and came up with yours! I've torn up the envelope and put it in the bin. Please everyone keep sending in your e-mails - these people need to be stopped. They are praying on the desperate, lonely, old and vulnerable without, apparently, any conscience at all.

I, like thousands of others, received 'the letter' in the most recent mass mailing from Ohio. It was certainly an interesting marketing twist with the mandatory timeline return requirement. I decided to send for my Orientation Booklet (four days past the required postmark date) and received my 56-page booklet with yet another 5-day timeline. Same basic stories - with further embellishments (read BS) - and a $135 price tag for the doctoral thesis version of the Same Old S*** (SOS) Internet savvy people - don't do it and tell our your unsuspecting friends not to do it. They want your money and have raised the price due to the higher cost of performing 10-second miracles - the oil companies are not the only ones gouging us!

Got this letter in the mail yesterday with a supposed two day turn-around time to return it for some free information. If they wanted to send me the free info why didn't they just do it instead of sending me the stupid letter first. Nothing about the letter added up to me. I listened to that inner voice that told me that some whacko might end up on my doorstep think ing that I'm and easy target or something. I tore it up this morning and threw it in the trash with the rest of the junk mail that I got yesterday. This letter definitely tries to appeal to a person's sense of vanity and greed. DONT FALL FOR IT! I just thought to look this up on the internet and was not very surprised when I found out that it is truly a scam! Just like the old saying goes...WHEN SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT ISN'T TRUE!

I have done some research on this group and have actually attended a siminar of one of their organizations. The are are associated to Neo-Tech Publishing in Las Vegas, Logic Services in New Jersey and GlobalTec Solution in Dallas. GlobalTec Solutions of Dallas is producing a computer program for money trading on the internet. The computer program is called "4X Made Easy" and is selling for $2,995. The Dallas BBB shows them trying to clean up their act. 6 complaints with 3 resolved and 3 assumed resolved by the BBB. The original company started in 1991 was Neo-Tech Publishing out of Las Vegas and were being watched by the BBB there.
While at the seminar I asked several questions to determine exactly what was going on. I have since discovered that they have a group of brokers that process your request when you utilize their money market program. They state that their program helps you determine when to buy and when to sell.
The program apears to be on the up & up, but you descide for yourself.
If infact this was a scam, the federal trade commission would shut them down fast. Keep in mind a scam in the money trade market would affect the value of money in every country.
From my research I have concluded that the original group was joined by several groups or a larger one. This new group seems to value their reputation and figured that there is alot of money to be made, if they do three things: 1.) Upfront about the risks
involved 2.) Provide something of value to the customer 3.) Sell an ongoing service
I believe this new group may turn thing around due to the fear of loosing their reputation and going to a federal prison.
Oh, one last thing. After you purchase the computer program you must pay a monthly fee of $100 for the use of their brokers to process your requests. This is where reputation and honesty come in. They are constantly watched by the federal trade commission because they are now involved in trading 247.
Hope i helped. As for the book, ask those who have recieved it. I can't imagine a book other than a bible, that could possibly have all the answers:P

I ordered K. Trudeau's Natural Cures book less than a month ago. Today, I recieved this letter with newsletters I specifically did NOT order. I checked my credit card bill and found I was charged $71.40 US for the newsletters. I called and was assured this was an error and would be fully refunded - we shall see.

The letter and the 80-page "7 stories" was also included. The order form to request the 2300-year old book has Natural Cures, Inc. address on the bottom of the order form. The 90-day money-back guarantee is notably for members only. (..smell a rat, yet?)

Clearly Kevin is no longer hiding his involvement with this scam. Sadly, while I do think some of the info in his natural cures book is quite enlightening, his scamming casts doubt on anything he has to say.

I, too, already know I am special. My Bible tells me so.

I will not finance this man's endeavors again. Fool me once, shame on YOU - fool me twice, shame on ME.

Yes I too received my invitation from the nouveau tech society I sent for the free 56 page booklet. After reading the 5 stories on how these 5 people benefited. I had notice that 4 out of the 5 and the 5th one was questionable had all received their copies of the 1000 page booklet with all the secrets for free. But they wanted me to pay at the discounted price of $139.95 Well I have sent them a letter see why I too could not receive these secrets for free. After all they are the ones that have all the money now and they have picked me so since I am so special I feel that I should get this information for free. We shall see.

Thank you all so much for your comments. I too was sent a lengthy letter telling me what I already know.I know that I am special. I don't need to pay someone for a book that's going to keep telling me that. No one said what Kevin Trudeau's involvement was in all of this. My husband bought the book 5 months ago and it is amazing that some of the things my husband and I discuss sometimes was in his book. Back to NTS I knew they had to be scam, because after the free booklet, you have to send $310 for the "REAL" book which was a so called discount. Again thanks.

HA! Aren't we all so special!!! lol, I recieved my first letter... said I had to have it mailed back by the day I recieved it! I wrote them a little message back, told them if they wanted me to respond by that date that they could've sent it to me earlier. I didn't say I even wanted the 1st installment and they sent it to me anyway! This is bogus crap-o-la everyone.

Among other scams and charlatans that have missed the radar are Retail report.com and TriStar. When I was 23 I answered a newspaper job posting at TriStar. It looked too good to be true! It said $525/week plus bonus, a customer service position. When I went to the orientation seminar, the presentation was selling air ionizers to businesses, the next day it was selling vacuum cleaners and air ionizers to businesses. Day three is was selling vacuum cleaners to people's homes and the air ionizers on the side. Day four it was commission only. Long story short, I'm still in the process of suing them because I kept that newspaper ad and every piece of paper they gave me!

It's not really a scam. You do get what it says you get-a 1,000 pg. book. It's not all true, they says they are honest, but they are human and therefore not as honest as they say. They are in it for the money just like everyone else. My bad I gave it to them. I bought it all. I'm supposed to be a full fledged member. Which by the way is "free" for a full year. It's been 8 months and I have yet to hear about any secret society meeting nor have I heard a word from my "mentor".
It did change my life though. I no longer need the caffiene I was taking in Large doses everyday. I do not need a cigarette evertime I sit down. But I'm still poor and I guess my special abilities just aren't that special. I do see things differently.

Glad I researched this a bit. The letters were well written at one point and then they had some major typos. Doesn't it make you a little weary when someone says they have researched you? I have been chosen to get rich and have power, great, but I already knew that. I am among the ten in my area who may already have won a million dollars. I better not hold my breath. My money stays in my pocket. If it sounds to good to be true...It is!

I received my "unique" letter yesterday from The Nouveau Tech Society. Finally, proof of how "special" I am... just kidding. What a bunch of crock these people have come up with. They need to get real jobs and stop scamming people. It is pretty obvious that they are getting their mailing list from book distribution centers since they spelled my last name with the "same error". So much for their new found psychic abilities. I do have to thank them for the best laugh that I've had in quite some time. Hmmm, maybe a new career for them for their "Cycle Two" - comedy.
