locating a payday loan company

14 years 2 months ago
I got a payday loan a little over a year ago thru a company called RD STN Financial. I want to pay it off and cannot locate a phone number, address or any information on them. I applied through the internet and cannot track down any loan documents, address, phone number and am stumped as to how to stop it or pay it off. I talked to the bank who has no phone number for them; if i put a stop payment on them, i will have to do it every 2 weeks at a cost of $30 for each stop payment.

title loan in Florida

14 years 2 months ago
In 2007 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and my husband died in an accident. I got a title loan on my car in December, and made payments until March of 2008. I still have the vehicle, have been on unemployment for awhile and can only imagine how much I owe now. I can't afford to pay, it is my only transportation, and I obviously can't sell it either. How would the SOL apply to this type of loan?

Pay day loan help in CT

Received this PM from hshort0303 Quote:
I've seen your advice on the forums here and was wondering if you might have any advice for me regarding payday loans I have. I live in CT, but my bank is in NY. Not sure if that makes a difference to start with. I currently have 3 loans. I have set up with 2 of 3 of them to pay off in full. Both loans were originally for $300.00 One company has agreed to only charge me $25.00 of the $90.00 finance fee for a total payoff of $325.00.

I am now unable to write checks pretty much anywhere due to CheckNGo putting me on their Certegy list. I have requested extended payment plans with them, but cannot pay the $400 a month that they want for 3 months....I asked them to extend it to 6 and they said no. Any help?

Multiple Collection Agencies for the same account?

14 years 2 months ago
What's the best way to figure out which collection agency actually has my account? We moved twice in the last few years and I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency for a debt that I didn't even know I had. The debt is from AZ and we haven't lived there in over 3yrs and this is the first I've heard about it. First I received a letter from Progressive Financial saying the original creditor and creditor was from COX Arizona. (Must be from my last bill when I moved.

Social answers...

Honestly, social answers is turning into an ask.com or an ehow.com. It seems to be attracting one question wonders....and quite frankly, most of these questions are by people who are dumber than stumps. A typical question...
I have several credit card debts which I’m unable to pay because of my unemployment. That’s why I have decided to file Chapter-7 bankruptcy. Can you tell me after filing bankruptcy shall I still be responsible to repay the debts in full?
They ask the questions and then do not return.
