I live in Michigan and have 3 Open Loans. Advance America $676.48 <- Paid off with a deferred transaction agreement 2 payments of $225.48 and have one left Spot on Loans $300 <-- Paid $390 off Spot on Loans $300 <-- Have made 2 payments of $139.00 Spot on Loans $400 <- No payments made yet I know Advance America is a legal payday loan lender in Michigan and I have already set up a deferred transaction agreement to make 3 payments of $225.48. I have made 2 but am struggling with the third payment which is supposed to be taken out this week.

A sudden loss of job income has made it impossible for me to keep up my payments. I explained the situation and asked for a deferrment of at least 2 payments to allow me time to go out and get another job or find an alternative so I could start repaying again. This is my second loan with this company. The first I paid back through monthly payments with no problem. This loan I have actually paid back 2100 so far; the original loan was for 2000 and I still have 14 more payments unless, of course, I pay back earlier.

I need some real info here. I getting a little confused. When I first posted on here about my payday loans everyone responded to me to close my bank account, write the ACH revoke letters and to just pay the principal. I tried to close my bank account but the bank insists that I made an agreement with the payday loan companies and that I must pay. I then contacted my AG, and they said they would send me a form to fill out but basically I would have to wait to do anything with my bank.

Hello folks, I set up a consolidated debt repayment plan with an agency out of AZ. The initial term estimated by them was 18-24 months to repay all my debts. I'm now 16 months in and I receive an email from them saying that "all my debts are paid" and "all my accounts have been settled" but that I should continue to pay the agency the monthly amount in case I have 1099 tax responsibilities for 2011. Isn't the tax issue my problem to sort out for myself? Should I stop making monthly payments to the agency?
