Hello, All of my PDL's are internet companies. I have not paid anything on the principal, only the $90.00 renewel fee for 3 weeks. I'm debating on using a consolidation company like Town and Country or just doing it myself. I've already closed out my bank account on Friday, and I have not turned on my cell phone yet today, so I'm not sure if the calls have started.

I live in FL and some used my account to get a PDL on line with American Web Loan. I closed the account after returning the money but they wanted me to pay loan fee...Can any legal actions be taken againist me under the bad check law in FL

Anyone know the laws regarding speedy cash's newer "Flex"-loc or loans? Would it be the same laws as PDL's? These loans and title loans are just as bad as PDL's imo.

I took all the steps suggested above (validation of debt letters sent to Midland and the attorney they sent after me) and never received a response. I filed complaints with the FTC and the AZ attorney general's office (I was living in AZ at the time) and the creditor (Midland) responded to them and the FTC sent me their response.
