Hello, Should I stop paying these PDL's? I live in California and I didn't find that they were licensed when I searched. Sandpoint Capital Loan on 3/10/11 for $200.00 Payments so far total $420.00 and remaining balance is still $200.00 United Cash Loans Loan on 2/09/11 for $300.00 Paid this loan off finally on 5/13/11, total paid was $825.00 Re-loaned on 5/27/11 for $400.00 and have made two payments of $120.00 so far, both only interest so remaining balance is still $400.00.

My parents recieved quite a few harassing calls from them asking for me when i was merely 17 years old and refused to talk with my parents. Thye kept calling and i refused to talk to them because i didnt know what the heck to do. They were quiet for awhile but a few days ago (i am 21 now) i got a bill in the mail stating that i owe 866.34 and the original creditor was ge money bank. I have NEVER done any business with them ever! I don't know what to do. I am very responcible and I think I would know if I owed this money. I think it is complete BULL SHIT! what do i do?!?!?

I was summoned to court by a lawyer, Bernhardt & Strawser in Charlotte, NC. They claimed to be Citibank's Attorney but I believe they bought the debt. they did admit they were a debt collector. They claim I owe a credit card debt of $5200.00 On April 18th I answered the summons denying allegations for lack of knowledge.

Hi, We've (and by we I mean me) amassed a large amount of debt with Payday loans. I live in California. From what I've read here it seems they may have been illegitimate PDL companies (they are all over the limit I've seen listed here of $300 total payback and I can't find any on the department of corporations web site here in CA).

Hello, I received an email from Great Sky Cash thanking me for my loan application and stating that funds in the would be deposited into my account. I replied to the email and stated that I never requested to take out a loan with that company and wanted to refuse the funds. I received a reply that if I did not want the loan then I should not have signed the document and that they would be depositing the funds anyway. I did not sign any loan document with them but the document that they sent me with my "acceptance" was an electronic signature. They also had some of my employment info wrong.

My step father changed his social security number and won't tell my mother which company has a lien on her house (his name is on the mortgage too). He may have taken out a loan against the house which would be a illegal or a company may have put a lien against the house because of his debts. We don't know which it is andhe won't co-operate. We need to find out how to resolve this, anyone know what to do?

My wife had a card that she was using for business that was maxed out. I agreed to make monthly payments to pay the debt and did; however, during the period when this was being negotiated, they have reported a 60 past due on my credit reports. How do I get this removed? My 3 reports show 695, 713 and 730 but according to the different reports, one is Fair, the other is Good and the last one is Excellent. They all contain the same information? Is this a problem when someone reviews my report? Thank you
