I did a settlement with Bank of America and Midland Funding LLC is the holding the debt. I never recieved a 1099 C. How do I request one to be sent to me. The phone number listed is not in service

I sent my letters last week to the illegal lenders via email. How long after sending them out do I need to wait before following up with them? When I do follow up, do I ask if they have received my first letter or do I just send it again? My bank sent back the last payment for these companies that came through, so I'm surprised I haven't heard anything from them regarding the returned payment. Although my account is closed, I'm sure they will be trying to debit again this Friday.

How do I find reputable lending companies

I have been contacted by this company twice now and they are asking for two different people within 1 week. Plus the call center is out of either India, Pakistan or some stan overseas and they can barely speak English. I have asked them to slow down and speak clearly only to have them speed up and start jabbering in their own lang. I've read a bunch of posts but it seems that there is truley nothing you can do to stop them or am I missing something?

I have two bank of america accounts closed due to a debt -1 i would like to pay my outstanding balance to my closed accounts of bank of america , can i have an agency and a phone number to call to pay off my debt. 2- if i pay my outstanding debt on all my accounts i will they be able to activate my accounts?

Hi, I have paid about $8,000 on a $5,000 loan from cash call and still owe them $4,900, my balance only went down by $100 in over 3 years. My payments are $255/mo. I am in good standing with them but feel as though I will never get out without a lot of financial duress. I called a different consolidation company and they said Cash Call does not negotiate unless you default. So I would have to default and then work out a settlement once the interest freezes. Are there any other options? Would Cash Call go along with a settlement or would they try to sue?

I am only 22 years of age but am about 7000 in credit card debt/cellphone bill. I would like to find out which would be better for me as far as filing bankruptcy or trying to consolidate the debt... and which would, so to speak, be better for my credit as far as getting it back to the almost 800 credit score i had before all of this. I know it is not a bad amount of debt but i am currently unemployed and am aiming for a job that pays at least 1000 a month.. if consolidating the debt will increase my chances in being able to get loans/credit cards.
