I have some internet payday loans that I believe may have been issued illegally (without being licensed from my State). They are killing me, but I am not sure what to do to handle them. I am very new to this, and would really appreciate some guidance. Thanks! Mark

I too was "harassed" by MCM, for a couple of weeks. The co. was handling two old debts I'd owed. The number shows as unknown when they call, and After two calls that I answered, I'd screen them and be harassed via voicemail. One day I accidentally answered, and was shocked to have a nice gentleman "Joe" really help me. He verified everything, and even understood when I needed to call HIM for my peace of mind, before dropping a CC on the phone. The company DID positively report my debt to the Credit Bureau, and I am quite satisfied, but ONLY with this individual.

I just spent 13 months with this company, and they did NOTHING other than take my $ for 'fees'. They DID NOT contact any of my creditors. I provided them 10 credit cards. I called and settled 3 of them myself! Now, I have 2 CITI card accounts in the hands of "Collectors" who are trying to get a default judgment. Credit Solutions told me to inform my creditors that we were in "Solidarity" and provide them information online of any telephone calls, letters for these accounts. Even when I told them I had $$ to settle my largest account, the negotiations were worse than the actual debt.

need help to resolve paydayloans

I have several outstanding pay day loans in the state of RI. All of them were received through internet lenders. While I understand RI allows internet lenders - so long as they are licensed in some state - how can I tell which ones are not licensed anywhere? Does it make sense to just treat them all as "unlicensed," follow the suggestions in the forum regarding sending them emails, then sort it out later? I am currently taking care of my Ex wife's AMx debt due to a separation agreement and the account was being handled by Collectcorp. I was authorizing Collectcorp a single month by month withdrawal from my bank account where they contact me every month prior to the due date and get authorization to withdraw the money. My Ex-wife recently violated the separation agreement and I stopped making the payment. I last authorized payment in March of 2011 and then left the country on the 31st of March.

Please comment if you have used the Coastal Credit Solutions company to settle debt, give me your Pros and Cons and if you would give them an A rating?

Has anyone used this company before? I'm in Maine and took out a loan for $300 with them. I have already paid back $393 and they still say I owe $210? is this legal?

I live in Texas and have 8 PDL's, some current and some in collection. Like many I have read from in the forums, I have tried my best to carry the load, but just cannot anymore. I am tired of wasting almost my entire paycheck and putting my other finances such as rent, insurance, and food budget in jeopardy. No more. No more will I stay up at night worrying about collection calls, no more selling my personal assets just to make a refinancing fee, no more making up ridiculous stories of why I have no money to simply go to a movie with friends or family.
