I just received a call from Delanore, Kemper & Associates out of Atlanta, GA. They are collecting on a PDL I had in 2008. Is this firm legit? I am willing to pay but don't want to be bamboozled like with a different agency. They are wanting to take me to court.

I just received a call from a Nicolas at 1st Source, rude message left for individual who was not me. I called back wishing to speak to Nicolas, and told person on the phone I was displeased by the message that was left on my machine. I asked what type of business is this? I was not given an answer, but was transferred to a supervisor. Enter Kevin, the call that disturbed me by Nicolas was rude, and not even to the person they were trying to reach. I stated this to Kevin, and that I wished to speak directly with the person who made the original call.

I got a credit score from Myfico and I want to fix my credit. I didn't pay any of my school loans after getting out of college due to apathy, no money, and lack of debt education. My 2 years of irresponsibility really affected my credit and I want to fix it because I am taking steps to move forward in my life. My current score is 573 according to Equifax. I have 14 installment accounts, 8 are past due, and all 14 have negative marks on them. 12 of the accounts are as follows: 6 AES Student Loans that give a 0$ Balance and the same 6 AES Student Loans with an updated balance with interest.
