I have outstanding student loans. I consolidated my loans in 2000 and have since defaulted again. my loans are ffel consolidated.. 2 loans below 1. principle is 6,000.00 and intrest around 1,600.00 2. principle is 12,800 intrest 3,300.00 this is the updated amount as of February 2011. per government nslds website also states fannie mae as current lender and usa funds as current guranty. Seems this is the original loans? from nslds website. my credit report shows around 29,000.00 in past dues from usa funds as of march 2011. does this sound correct?

i have been getting letters from CA about past accounts..between 04-06 i was deployed and my credit was ruined by my ex wife who took it upon herself to charge all my credit cards.which i had paid off while i was gone..is there anyway i can get this straighten out. and fix my credit report..

I need to write a letter to improve my credit report. I need to get the debt collector and the original creditor to make changes to mark my record as “Paid in Full.” I guess I need to have the collector to remove the negatives and the original credit to mark as “Paid in Full.” However, I do not know if I write just one letter making my request to the collector or write to both the collector and creditor separately. I have been looking at the sample letters at debtconsolidationcare.com I do not see a letter that covers both. Can someone help me on choosing the correct letters?

I have been doing research on the subject and according to PA state law, payday loans are illegal for our state. Also in doing my research, I was told to close my bank account, however, it is not possible as I have outstanding legitimate checks that need to clear. I have placed stop payments on each, but my bank stated there was no guarantee that the payments could actually be stopped. I also sent emails and faxes to each company stating that I revoke my permission to withdraw from my account.

I took out 3 loans in 2009 and I have closed my account and they are still contacting me. I have yet to receive any correspondence from them. They only call me. How can I get them to stop calling. I have blocked their numbers but they managed to get a hold of me today at work and told me to get counsel. What in the world! I am now worried. What should I do. I mean it's been since 09. Why haven't they sent any letters then?

What does it mean when there is a negative balance in the past due column which is the same amount in the balance owing column?
