I have been working on trying to get refunds on some of the accounts that I had over paid. I have been reading some stuff about webpayday and wondering if someone could help me out. Are they out of business? Is so am I wasting my time working on them? And if they are is there a parent company or someone else I should be trying to get in touch with? Any info that anybody has will be very appreciated.

I had some payday loans back in 2009. I closed my account and sent out letters that stated the interest rates that they were charging were against my state's law (which it is) I stated that because of the payments I had made equaled or was more then the amount I borrowed my debt was paid in full. I recieved letters back from 3 of the 5 stating that they were marking my account paid in full. As for the other two I never heard anything again until this week. There is a company calling me stating that I wrote a "bad check" (the ACH debit that did not go through).

I spoke to Sharon this morning in payday loan yes. I had told them i wanted to work something out with them even though i payed 510 on the 350 i borrowed. She told me we could settle this with two payments of 400. I just called right now and she said i have to make at least a payment of 105 which is the fees. I told her i don't have that kind of money and she went ahead and said then we are filing court charges against you. Should i worry? I already made complains with Attorney General. I also changed my phone number but they keep calling me at work.
