FIA card services/ Bank of America - I made 10,000 dollars in payments (which includes our normal payment) this month on my card, and they dropped my credit line to just above my balance the next day, YES I AM SERIOUS, they dropped my credit line from $24,300.00 to $15,200.00, the NEXT DAY, the payment posted yesterday and today my credit line was decreased!

I have two payday loan in NJ, I lost my job in decamber so i am unable topay the loan back at this time. however how the company iscalling my family telling them they are putting me in jail. how can i stop them from harrassemt please hhelp me from going crazy with these calls. Thanks.:(

I am happy to say we finally settled our last account right before charge off. Citibank was our last card and we settled right before 180 days for 29%. They were stuck at 35 for a long time but we hung in there and finally upped our offer a little to 29% and it was accepted. Made a lump sum payment Thursdsy after receiving settlement letter by mail and a huge weight has been lifted! Thanks again for all the helpful posters here and good luck to those starting or in the journey now. You can do it!!!

Ok so last week I posted on here. I have had an issue with these people and their threats. THey would not provide an address to me to mail my 245 dollar balance instead they insisted I pay 700 dollars. I sent them a revoktion email of ACH and wage garnishments. They said it means nothing. ANyhow I havent heard from them until today. They said they are sending my employer paperwork. Can they actually mail in a request for garnishment or is this a scare tactic?

I was going to apply and get a capital one secured credit card. I was just looking for anyone that has one and has any feedback on it. Any info will be helpful. Also after a few months of good steady payments on a card like this how much will my score be affected? Will there be a noticable rise in my score or will it only be like 5 or so points, but hey any increase is good so I'll take it. Thank you for your help.

four years ago I signed up for debt consolidation with Liberty Mutual, after paying for $150 for over 2 years. I found out that Campos Chartered in Florida was the firm negotiating, managing and acting as my arbitrator. Then, couple years ago I received letter from Broward County Circuit Court that Campos Chartered caused customers to purchase their service through deceptive trade practices and representations. In short, somehow I realized that my 2 years of payments did not go to my creditors. Although, they were reimbursing my money in installment (5%) but the damage has been done.

Could anyone please tell me their address so I can send them a do not call letter? As soon as I told them I was going to send one, I asked for their address, which of course they refused to give me.
