So I have been reading through this forums about pdl's and believe I have a good idea on what I need to do but want to make sure I have it all right. 1st - I need to close my bank account and get a new one or get it set to deposit only? Has anyone dealt with Citibank before? 2nd - send email to pdl lenders informing them that i am revoking ach withdrawals based on them being illegal and pdl's are prohibited in NY State.

I have been researching this for awhile now and I haven't seen anything addressing actual student loans that can cover money owed to a school after the fact. Is the only way to get a student loan to get it before you go to school?

Anyone with any experince please pipe up with advice.. I could REALLY use it. My husband and I owe around 50k on CCards. We had to use the cards when my husband lost his job and it has been downhill ever since. My husband is a soldier and right now due to his army status we only pay 6% on all of our credit cards. With this we are paying our cards on time but BARELY. Actually right now we are in the process of attempting to rent out our home (yes rent since we cant sell it since we owe more then its worth) so that we can rent a smaller less expensive place.
