I recently defaulted on two Internet Payday loans. I live in Nevada and from what this company is telling me they are licensed in Delaware. I have paid double the amount in fees and partial on the principal. Before I defaulted I emailed them both letting them know my bank closed my account due to overdrafts and that I lost my job and needed another arrangement or settlement. They responded with no.

I don't think this complany has good intentions of getting negotiations with your debts. They took money from your bank account, but nothing has been settled yet. I was told that I have to put more money in my trust account for about 6 months or more so I have enough money for them to negotiate. I don't want further damage to me because of what I have read. Should I continue with them or do it with my creditors by myself?

we got a call at my husbands job today regarding a pdl with SSM . He was not there at the time and they asked for his manager, who was also absent and then for HR which they were transfered but HR didtnt get the call. The number on caller display was for National credit adjusters. They are licensed in TN but SSM is not actually not licensed anywhere that i can find. My question is i saw on the laws regarding collectors that if when we ask for it to be verified they can come up with some kind of bill for the amount that they can continue to call you etc.

I have so many different places and things that I owe and I want to be able to pay on them but I'm not sure which places and how much or where to start. If I could find a way to get every bill I owe written down and sum it all up than I could start calling and stuff. What do I do?

Hi, This site has been so helpful to me but I have a question that I can't find an answer to in the other threads. Here is the situation: I am behind on two Wells Fargo accounts. The first is a credit card that is currently being worked out in a settlement agreement. The second is an UNSECURED line of credit that they are going to charge off in about three more months (according to what they say). They are offering 65% now for the unsecured line but I can't afford that so I am waiting to see if we can get the offer lower as we get closer to the charge-off date(or even past it, if need be).
