I got the exact same message from CPD, saying I owed x amount of dollars. Also, got all the same info sent to my e-mail address. Tried sending e-mails but they won't go thru.
I am in a mess with payday loans. Can anyone tell me in the state of Maryland what I can do. I have closed my accounts. I have loans with zip19, paydaymax. Mycashnow and magnum funding.
I can't pay these and to join a debt relief program they charge a 30 percent fee of the balances you owe
Help.
I was wondering if someone can help me out and tell me what the CFSA actually does for consumers. I filed a complaint against Cottonwood Financial for not honoring an EPP. Last I was told they had a day to reply back to the complaint from the lady at the CFSA which was before Christmas. I haven't heard from either party. Tonight I got a phone call from Kohn Law Firm down in Milwaukee Wisconsin saying they got the account and wanted to see what we can do to resolve it. Now mind you, I haven't heard back from the CFSA, Cottonwwod to work an EPP out or nothing.
A couple weeks back my wife and I received a letter in reference to a student loan that has defaulted. The listed "principal balance" is $1,327 but the "current balance" is $1,803 with interest, fees, and costs included.
I received a phone call today from a payday loan collector while at work. I asked them not to call my job anymore and to call me on my cellphone regarding this matter. So i received a phone call with just triple zeros and it was them. The woman on the other line kept asking me to write down a fax number but kept blowing me off when i would ask her why. Then finally i wrote the number down which was (917) 677-8913 she told me that i had to fax her a copy of my debit card and a authorization letter so that they can deduct my balance owed.
