Soap Lady, In your post regarding "can you be sued for credit card debts?" You mentioned that if a creditor has trouble finding you, then they can sue without you knowing. How is this possible? Doesnt this violate Due Process? I know in my state, you have to be properly served. If someone sues you with out you knowing, then when you do find out, all you would have to do is notify the judge of deficient due process, and then sue for damages if they did something (like garnish your wages) without you knowing.. Isnt that the reason why there is such a thing as skip tracers?

i owe the bank $400, its currently overwwrawn, i onlyy have less than 2weeks to get the money or they will report my matter to the collection.. but the thing is, i still have pay day loan checks still out.... i dont kno if i will have 400 soon enough, plus my pay day loans might force my ACOUNT BACK OPEN.... if i have to livewithout a bank account thats fine, but what are my other consequences

Ok so a month ago before finding this site I had 6 paydays loans. I have gotten them all paid with miminal fees except for 2. Most took offers of payment back of principal with a small interest rate when I presented them with the illegal lender letter. So that was awesome. I still have one pesky one from TLCFASTCASH. I took out $200 made one $79.00 payment before I changed my account information. I sent them the letter from the illegal paydayloan thread. And here is what I got in return. I don't know how to move forward on this.

what can i do about a starcashprocessing loan. they lent me $350 (without my knowledge) and by the time i noticed it was in my account it was too late. i have now paid $575 and i called them and they said that i still owe $390 that the first 4 payments were part of the set up agreement or some bs like that. i live in ny is there anything i can do about this?
