My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Florida I have a hard ship at some point, I started using a credit card to pay my mortgage, then I could not pay either or, I keep sending payments to all my CC, with Bank of America, a very large one the interes rate promotion went up and I could not continue sending the full minimun Payment, I started sendind less than the minimun, after 3 months I have a phone call, I explain what is happening and ask them if I can be put on any payment plan, they told me that I have to be upto date on the payment to do this, but I continue sendin

All - Where do I start regarding a Debt Settlemment with the credit card banks? I want to do a Dent Settlement program but not sure where to start and what I need. If anyone has any suggestions, reference material, "ponies", etc., it would be greatly appreciated. If I go on my own, what percentage of my debt should I offer them at starting, and how much do the banks normally agree upon? Any help would be great!!!! Thanks!!!!! Dave

I sent the debt validation last week. I tracked the letter and it was delivered yesterday. How long does the CA have to respond with the documents requested? Secondly, I know the loan was illegal. What do I do IF they provide an agreement between them and the PDL, the internet contract, and a payment history? I can't find a good answer on what to do then? I did find that ARM of Florida is licensed in FL and therefore can collect in my state.

I have several payday loans, I don't want to default or close my checking account. Will most lenders work out a payment plan if I go to them? I also cannot afford to do the EPP. I need to pay less each payday then the payments would be for EPP.

A man called me this morning from the Takhar Group saying that I owed money to Columbia House in the amount of $157.00 and I had to pay him right now or he would ruin my credit for the next seven years. I have never received anything from CH and I have never bought anything from CH. He said his name was Brad Christine but he had a very bad forein accent. I think this is a SCAM and something needs to be done about this Company.
