Does anyone know anything about Credit Alliance Group? I am thinking to take their help but I want to be sure before taking the plunge. Anyone with any experience dealing with them.

We were recently contacted by a CA to whom AMEX had referred our account. It turns out that AMEX has released personal information on my wife and me including social security numbers and bank account information. Is this legal? Can AMEX send this out to an unaffiliated third party w/o our consent?

my total amount debt is 26,000 where do I get help on paying this off

I have 4 defaulted student loans that amount to $9000, I want to consolidate but I read that I have to have one loan with payments being made. I have asked the collection agency if I could pay $50 a month for 3 months in order to do the consolidation, but they say no they want $150.00. But the ICR says I would roughly qualify for $30.00 payments. is there anything I can do?

When I was asked at the check out counter about opening an account, I asked how long it would take. She said not very long at all. This process was taking too long, people were lining up behind to check out, I told her I didn't think it was a good idea to being holding the line up to be doing the application. She gave me an application to bring home. Now I see that Equifax has an inquiry on my report and you apparently did not get the correct or any info on my income, and I'm not happy!

Here is what I have typed up to send to CK Marketing. If you don't mind, please review and let me know if I am missing anything. CK Marketing sent me a text message stating that if they don't speak with me in the next 5 days they will be levying my account. Should i put something in my letter concerning the fact that they say they are going to levy my account? I am yet to receive anything in writing to my PO box from them. Everything has been text message, voicemail or email. My husband and I are going in tonight to close our account and open a new one.

I just got a call stating they would take me to court for fraud because I closed my account with the intent of not repaying the loan. I live in North Carolina can they do this

Got a call from Recovery Processing Systems regarding a "bad check/ACH debit" that they are collecting on. . . said they would turn it over to the County Attorney in my area. Is this legit?
