i have credit cards i cannot pay do to brtain tumor surgery and my husbands open heart surgery and also the high cost of meds and we both lost our jobs after 30 years working for the same employer. we are at our wits end. what wr owe is more then we take in a month.

I received a phone message from them yesterday, telling me they need me to contact them asap. They also gave me a file number. I am having financial probs right now, but I've also been getting harrassed bu Portfolio Recovery over an oustanding debt from 15 years ago, which isn't even on my credit report anymore. Should I call them back?

:confused:they voted on a bill that would cut interest rates to payday loans. The voters approved this bill so does this send a signal to the other states who do not have a bill limiting the interest rates. They want to cap the interest rates at 36% way to go Montana. Hope the other states follow suit and cap the interest rates. :confused:
