I am wondering if any one can tell me anything about them. I looked up by phone number and they are first asset recovery group. They said i took out a payday loan of 300$ and i owe 311$ to cash central. I think i might have, 3 years ago. I admit it was a bad time for me and i closed my account and that was it. I thought nothing of it. I got a few notices by email and i started getting calls and now they said they are sending it to the legal dept of First Asset. Are they going to sue me? I am really worried. They said i could pay it and it would be fine.

I want to know if Legal Networks submits a 1099 during tax time once a credit card debt has been settled on. Or am I responsible for paying the IRS?

Is there a way to find out who calls anonymously? Due to changing phone companies my phone number changed and one benefit of that was that scum collectors couldn't call me. My phone went from ringing at least once or twice every hour to nothing but my personal calls (which are of course why I pay for a phone, not to be harrassed). Anyway after a fraudulently obtained default judgment was had against me all of a sudden I get anonymous calls. The first time I did answer it and it was the typical recording saying they have an important message, please hold.

WOW! I sent them an email last week stating my overpayment. Stating that they were operating without license in California on my 2 loans, and then asked for a refund and a PIF letter.
