I stopped paying 9 internet payday loan sites. I did not close my bank account yet but i did send out 9 emails to the companies via one of the examples on this site. Only 3 have tried to contact me so far its been one week. I had my work stop direct deposit so i can get a paper check. I would like to know what the next steps are to keep the stress to a minimum. Please help.

I have 5 payday loans some are installment based. Check N' Go=$1500 PLS=$800 Advance America=$300 EZ Money=$220 Check into Cash=$500 payment is due on all today and I just can't keep up on them anymore. I live in Wisconsin. I just closed my checking account today to avoid over draft and nsf charges. What should my next step be?

I cannot afford to pay at this time. However, they keep trying to debit my account. Everytime they do, my bank charges me $25 and the PDL charges me 45. This is quickly becoming a very ugly cycle. Can anyone give me a little advice?

What do i do after been sued and being to Case management hearing and the plaintiff didn't want to settled with a small payment plan? they want all their money now....the judge has order another hearing within 6 months what do i expect to happen on that hearing date...... if there's a judgment what do i do? i dont' have the money to pay? we barely make our mortgage payment and pay our bills.... Thanks to all of the wonderful help and advise I've received on this forum I closed my bank account today! Now watch the pay day lenders start screaming. I plan on sending them all letters over the weekend as my next pay day is Oct 29th. All but 2 actually owe me money! Probably never see that. I've sent QXL a letter asking for a refund, because I've paid $532 in excess charges. I paid both loans in full, but then was educated on my rights. This was there reply. Quote:

Almost through with dealing with these lenders, just a few to tidy up and pay. I had a loan with this company and fell behind on it. My bank account for them is closed, and I just recently heard from a 3rd party collector for tyhem by the name of Hoffman Swartz & Associates, Inc. I tried to look up MMG in my state (Illinois) and could find nothing. The 3rd party collector is now making an arrangement for me to pay 2 installments of $150.00 ea, then a final payment of $250.00.
