how do i stop them from calling, when i never took a loan?

Hi, I just settled two cards with Citi today. My Citi Master Card is 107 days late and I settled it for 30%. Another Amex card is around 97 days late and they wanted 65%, I made an offer of 30%, they came back with 35% after 2 days. I live in VA had a payday loan with National Payday Loan, I paid $180 on the $300 loan, hard times hit and I was unable to make the payments. They have turned over to LRA that states I owe $666. I sent the letter at the top of the forums. I got a call today which was escalted to management because I asked for the DV to be sent. He said that they do not have any of the information and it doesn't matter they will still collect. Internet payday loans are illegal in the state of Virginia, so I realize I only owe $120. This guy was so demeaning and really got me upset.

We had a chat with Loan Point USA yesterday and during the conversation, we told them that we were considering bankruptcy. They offered us a settlement, which we did not accept at this time. Today, we received a call, at our workplace, saying they heard we were going to declare bankruptcy. Immediately after the call, an email was sent to us from United Cash Loans (who we believed to be a different PDL) saying they heard we were declaring bankruptcy and demanding that we provide them with attorney information.

How do I respond to this lawsuit served to me ? I don't have a clue on what to say

Does anyone know if these internet payday lenders are legal in Colorado? Ameriloan, EZ Payday Cash, USfast Cash. What is my recourse if they are not?

Financial Help-I need to know where to find some financial help. I currently owe $4,559.00 to payday lenders and the bi-weekly finance charges are putting me in a position of not being able to pay my monthly bills. What suggestions, if any does the community have? I only got involved in PDloans because of my husbands health problems and not having insurance. It is very costly being diabetic. He has coverage now but the waiting period won't be up until April 2011. Several surgeries later and a mounting debt of $125,000.00 I need to get some relief at least where my paycheck is concerned.

I had 10 payday lenders to deal with just 30 days ago. 6 from a closed account, anohter 4 from my present. After so much helpful advice here on this site, I was able to fend off 3 current lenders in two weeks!! (Whooppee!) Turns out ALL 4 are not licensed in my state, and 3 of them sent me e-mail saying the matter is conisedered resolved and paid in full. 1 company (Solomom Finance d/b/a pay1day) gave me refund of $355.00! But there is 1 left on my account that is truly going to be a problem..QXL online.

I got served papers - you told me I must respond, it says I have 30 days. The file date is 9/5 and I didn't receive it until 10/15 who do I respond to? Foster and garbus and the court? There is only one address on there and it is forster and garbus, on top of that I am paying another company - they diebited my account on 10/20
