vanquish applied late payment charges to my credit file without informing me, which im told is a violation, what can i do if anything

I recieved funds from an unknown paydayloan lender and I did not sign up for or request a paydayloan through this lender. I cant seem to contact them to find out how they got my information and why they were able to deposit funds into my account without my permission. I live in California. Someone please tell me what I need to do?

I got a phone call from Manhart, Klein today saying they weren't collecctors, but they still proceded to try to get me to admit it was my debt and so on. I never did, but the gentleman informed me that someone bought the debt a company called Worldwide Asset Development Group. I said if it was mine, I don't owe it to them. He said I did, I tried to look up that company and his company and his web site is being worked on and the other company was just incorporated in March. Hi, I am a college student, I borrowed money from a friend of mine for my college tuition last year in may. The guy didnt do anything till June when he forced me to give him a check of the amount which I stopped payment with the bank. Now on the basis of this check he is asking the collection agency to harass me with debt collection calls. Let me point out that I have not signed any contract that says that I owe him this much money by this period, and the check he has, portrays a forged sign which can be proven.
