Hi if there is a lawsuit but I have not been served by the collection agency/attorney can I send that debt back to the original creditor? (credit card debt) if so what form should I use?

Has anyone heard of them? I received a call from them stating that they were investigating a possible fraud and they had a case number. Who are they?

I received a call today form Portfolio Recovery solutions today about a old Target credit card that was opened in 1998 ( so I was told by them) and the last payment was in 2003. The person on the other end wanted to know how I would like to take care of the remaining 184.00. Who are these people? I asked that he send me the information he has and he again asked how I wanted to pay the debt that he mentioned.

I received a call from Portfolio Recovery Associates tonight. They were calling about two accounts, one from 1995 and one from 1997. They told me the account number, amount owed and company name. I am completely unfamiliar with either of these accounts. I asked for them to please send me information regarding both accounts and was told "No, we have sent you bills in the mail before and they've been ignored.

Several of the PDLs are threatening to take me to arbitration if i don't settle my accounts. I would like to know if anyone here have actually been taken to arbitration? All my pdls are illegal, letters sent, complaints filed but they keep threatening arbitration if i don't settle forexample EASTSIDE Lenders.

I'm being sued by Capital One and Mark Walsh is representing them. I filed my answer awhile ago and I have my status Conference tomorrow. Mann Backen was the original lawyers now it's Mark Walsh. I never got a reply to my answer from them. What do I do next? Thanks, Eve

What lenders offer the best terms on consolidation loans?

I need help finding a loan for school, can any lenders help me out with this dilemma? Side Note: I don't have good credit.

My wife has a debt with Capital One and it was send to Nelson Watson for collection. They originally bullied and scared her over the phone to give them our check account info, I canceled the account and send them a notice to only contact us via mail and send a validation of debt letter. I sent the letter certified return mail on 9-7-10 and just received the validation from them on 10-12-10. My question is what should I offer them, because I know they will reject the first offer.
