Does anyone know anything about this "firm"... I keep getting calls from them, and when I call back, they just give me the run around about an investigation and how it is linked to my SS #. And--they say I owe $560 dollars. When I ask who to-- I get the run around again.. GRRRRRRRRR

Ok, I've been lurking here for a few days now and need some advice as far as how to proceed with my payday loans. I am being proactive as none of them have payment due until 10/15 but I don't want this to sneak up on me without a plan.

I recently posted on here that I had a payday loan with Solomon Finance/Pay1Day which is an illegal internet loan co. in MO. I sent them a letter this morning (using the template I got on this site) and asked for a refund in the amount of $3978.00!!! I just got an e-mail from them saying that a refund check will be in the mail this week for $3978! HOLY COW!!! Now I can pay off eveything else and have a little to boot! Just goes to show that it doesn't hurt to ask! I just knew they were going to ignore me and or not offer me a refund.

Let me tell you my situation in a nutshell - I have filed bankruptcy on 11/2007 and got a paid judgement on 11/2009. I have a few collections due to birth of baby in the year 2009 deductibles co pays for C-section. 1 late payment on credit card 12/09 - over credit limit now but that will be back down by next month Would Lexington Law be helpful to me? The (paid) judgement has my name mis-spelled...Can I do anything on my own to make it go away? I have a letter from the courthouse saying there is no judgement due to this error

Hello, I just received a response from Community Credit Services through the BBB. They stated that they reviewed the case and would be issuing me a refund check for $165. They did not however state anywhere that my account was PIF or that they would not debit my account anymore. Should I consider this good enough or fight back? Thanks for your help!
