How many companies can settle student loans?

I got a call from International Asset Group and they stated that I owed $1,200.00 for a payday loan that I took out in in 2006 that was $535.00. They stated that if I payed them by the end of the month that they would take $625.00 as a settlement. The lady Ms. Carter was very rude and told me that they were suing me for check fraud and attempting to defraud a federal bank.

After a judgement, garnishment and going after IRA accounts, do you also have to give them more information on how to collect from you????

i have 2 loans one for 390 wich i payed 180 the other 390 i didnt get to start paying them i called told them i didnt have funds in back they said i didnt call in time after that you gotta contact there collection depo need to say im worried im in trouble my bank account has overdrafted 360$ and it says there returned check im in trouble right help im new to this i do intend to pay the loans back i just need time the loans are from unitedloans and paydaymax

I live in Maryland and have the following debt: 9/15 Northway lent me $300. (None paid back yet) Deluxe Cash Club I borrowed $200 I've paid $160 (all fees I think) Pdyservices.com I borrowed $200 I've paid $237 (all fees I think) Ace Cash Services borrowed $350 none paid back yet. VIPLoans They keep taking out 60 $120 so far I can't tell what they lent me GS Finance 9Are they Great Sky?) lent me $400 I paid back $120. Please help. I have a great job and I am now able to cover my expenses without any additional loans. I just can't seem to get rid of these. Please help!!

I have finished my student loan rehab repayment requirement, paid for 11 months straight now. The NJ Dept. of Ed told me that they are in the process of finding new lenders for the loan to complete the rehab, but they have no idea of how long this will be. i am in the process of trying to get a mortgage so i need this mark removed but i don't want to go all these months and not have it removed correctly through the rehab process. I talked to 2 people from the Dept.

Has anyone had an experience with the law firm as far as a debt collector?
