i have 2 loans out paydaymax and unitedloans i habent made a payment since july there trying to get money from my bank account i will pay them back i just need some time just got laid off in july help scared of going to jail for check they say returned what to do!

Can a debt collector threaten you with losing your job? I just received a call from a debt collector and I was trying to find a way to work out a payment arrangement. Keep in mind this is the first time I am talking to these people on my work line no less. Anyway, this rude lady tells me that I have to pay the debt in full now or I could lose my job. Is that even possible?

I have gotten into trouble with payday loans since my divorce. I have already paid back more to these companies than the legal amount in my state (Indiana). I have closed my bank accounts and written my letter to revoke the ACH withdrawl. My problem is...every email account I have for these companies continues to give me "undelievarable" returns and none of the companies will give me a legitimate physical address. What do I do now? How do I get them to leave me alone?

Hi all, I have 2 entries that I am trying to figure out. One is from HSBC and the other is from LVNV Funding. I had asked Experian to validate the information and they came back verified but I didn't know to ask what they used to verify the debt. I had asked Equifax to verify the debt from HSBC and they removed the same entry but Experian was somehow able to verify. I am trying to figure out if this is a valid way to report it or if there is something I can dispute.

is there anything i can do to lift a bank levy...i just deposited a check from prudential which was a loan from my 401 account...can i get that money back? the bank levy happened two days later
