I sent the C & D letter to Eastside on Friday and they responded with the generic email stating they are licensed in Delaware and that is the "governing law". In the original email I sent it also included a copy of the Desist and Refrain Order from the California Dept. of Corporations dated October 2009. I sent a complaint to the Delaware BBB and got a response that they received my complaint and it takes 6-8 weeks to get a response but they have forwarded the complaint to Eastside.

While I have made considerable progress every time a lender sends an email and informs me that my loan with them is paid in full, it is like the same day a payday lender calls and is very ugly! I sent out the letter stating all communications are to be by email or in writing. I live in Texas. 500 Fast Cash is not licensed in Texas and they called and said they will pursue collections of the full amount.

Hi All, I have a lot of good things from my friends and relatives. So, I thought of telling you about my situation which has taken away sleep from me!!!! I am from Idaho and am under reeling pressure from the 5 payday loans that I took.

I applied for Chapter 13 on 2007. And till then, I am paying $ 600 to the creditors under the bankruptcy program. But, lately, I am having great financial problems, so I don't think I will be able to continue pay that amount to the creditors. Can anyone tell me if I can come out of the bankruptcy program and do some debt settlement to settle with the creditors? I really can't continue paying the amount and I'm doing it for the last 4 years. Any advice would be appreciated as I don't have any idea about these things and have done this with the advice of my father (who has passed away).

Stupid question but can anything be done after the auction date ? Thought we were working to get in the HAMP program but apparently it did not halt the auction date. Thanks
