Ihave 4 loans out with payday lenders and I'm trying to get out of them. Was told about PDL consolidators but I've heard that they get your money and don't pay your loans off. Who should I go with to get out of this mess I've gotten myself in to? Can someone please point me in the right direction. It would be greatlly appreciated. My next payment is on the 3rd. how does a debt consolidation really work?

During the housing boom I bought a condo in FL. The lender arranged a line of credit for the 15% downpayment. Since then I had to join the mass of people who had to let their home go. Even though Wells Fargo owned the mortgage and the LOC & the condo foreclosed, they are now after me for the LOC. Their point of view is that with the collateral gone [which they now own], I am still responsible for the LOC. The debt collector is now threatening to attach this LOC to other properties in my name & also to pursue wage garnishment.

I was told today by the customer service rep at Citi that she could not help me at ALL because of the OCC guidelines restricts how many "arrangements" they can offer for the consumer for help. What I got of out this is "we can screw you any which way to Sunday" but if we want to help you we have to follow guidelines. Is there any truth to this?

why are these people bothering my long divorced husband trying to find me? i have no idea what they want. never herd of them until today. how did they get my name? if i type in my acct number that they gave my ex husband and my ss card number can they trace it back to me? all i want to knowis what this is about. as i dont owe any money to anyone.

I live in New York State and I want to know if anyone know the law about payday loans I did do a couple and now I have several taking money out of my bank and I don't remember doing them can I close my bank account? Please help they took my whole paycheck.

Today, I learned that my bank account which had $1600 in it was attached with an $11,688 garnishment. I had no notice I was being sued. I had no notice of a judgment. I had no communication what so ever from the creditor. I live in GA. How do I 1. Reverse the garnishment? 2. Reverse the judgment? 3. Sue the creditor for violating the fair debt collection practices act?

I have several PDL's, but one is being debited from my account as United Consumer and I can't figure out who it is. Any ideas?

i paid them over $6,000.00 and still got sued by one of my credit card companies and is still getting calls from the other. when i tried to reach them i could not, not by phone or e-mail, they just dissapeared..stay away from them!
