have serveral payday loans which I e-mail and ask them not to enter any money into my checking account because the money wasn't there to pay them. Not only did they debit my account but now I owe over $650 in overdraft fees. My bank closed my account and won't take partial payments. I have half now and want to pay the other half in two weeks but they said I need it all right now. what can I do I am at wits end. they reported us to ChexSystem help. I live in Pa

I just wanted to post this here to say thanks to the help in this forum, I have gotten myself out of the payday loan situation that I was in. I live in Wisconsin and had 5 internet payday loans which the interest payments alone were taking up all of my paycheck. I was in a never ending cycle of getting nowhere. In reading these forums I realized that Wisconsin laws regarding payday loans are tricky, and a lender does not need to be licensed in Wisconsin to be legal as long as they are licensed somewhere in the U.S.

What is cra means when you been turn down for credit.

A payday loan company said that it reported me to Chexsystems and that it will prevent me from writing checks, is this a common practice?

I've had an American Express account since 2004. I had a gold charge which I daftly canceled because I didn't want to pay the modest annual fee. I was never once late with a payment. American Express then converted my charge to a Blue credit card with an $5000 limit.

I keep getting phone calls from Zwicker & Associates, which I do not answer. I checked them out on the internet and learned they are a collection service. I have no debts and am up to date on all my monthly bills, such as utilities. can you tell what I can do to stop these phone calls?

I live in MD so I can go online and look up if anyone is sueing me. Because of a divorce unfortuntely this is a recurring situation. With 3 creditors I have been able to look online, and call them when I see they have filed and make payment arrangements, and have avoided judements. Because ALL 3 times they did not contact me. Now today I look and there is a bill for my daughters braces that was in my ex's name and his name only. I see that they have my name attached to is, along with his and an address that is 2 years old for me.
