I received a call from the law offices of Wm. G Sokol and spoke to a Mr. Brown regarding a payday loan from Laser Lending/DJAT that I stopped the ACH on due to the ridiculous fees. He stated that I owe over $1000 on a $300 loan but that NCA would settle for $510. I never received a letter from NCA stating that the account was in their collection agency...don't they legally have to do that? He stated it ws sent by email. Mr. Brown began his conversation with threats of a lawsuit, wage and property garnishment.

I haven't called this number back yet but they left a message for me on my new cell number. I have no idea how they got the new number. Does anybody know anything about this company or number that call.

For those of you who have experience. Please tell me if I send letters to all my illegal PDL's all of which I have paid the borrowed amount. Should I expect to be hounded by phone calls at home and at work (Embarassing) until the end of time. I do want to get out of these loans, which is impossible with the outrageous finance charges, but I'm not sure I want to be afraid to pick up the phone or embarassed at work forever. I got a call from this gentleman today about a credit card I had defaulted on, I could not talk to him because he called me at work but I googled the name and OMG they freeze bank accounts and pretend to serve you with papers etc. and our Attorney General sued them for fraudlently serving people when they never did then getting a judgement against them. Anyone have any recent dealings with this company? I am petrefied now. I was paying the cc company directly monthly but that stopped for some reason and when I call they just tell me it's been sold to another co.

Does anyone know the proper terms I should use to object to a telephonic witness in the state of Florida. Chase is suing me and they wouldn't settle at the arbitratation so I told them to go to trial. They have requested the judges permision to use a witness on the phone because they are located in Texas. How can I object to this with the proper legal wording?

I receive a from All America Services wich suppose a law firm the sr. name is Allan Marshall and Mark Brown that I have a loan with Cash Advance USA and they are in representation of them. they want me to make a payment for lower amount that I suppose to own them, i said to call me back later. what I did was i went to the cash advance web and send them a email, they respond was to be carefull because some people are making this calls that they dont have any record with my information. they still calling me, i tald them what cash advanceUSA sent me and they still calling me. WHAT I SHOULD DO?

How long after I close my bank account and send out the letters, will the calls start coming in?

Hi this is my first time writing this, I got for the first time a debt collector letter on 2009 form an agency collector but the original debtor was LNVN FUNDING LLC. I sent the validation debt letter and obviously, they never sent me back any response or proof that the debts is mine. I know that the debt does not belong to me because I check my credit with the 3 agency and the original account is not stated on my credit report.
