What if a company refuses to comply?? I have sent out a letter to the lender and he said they can only revoke AFTER the account is paid in full?? What is the point then??

I have been getting calls and letters from these guys about a debt that is at least 7yrs old, and I have told these guys that I am on social security and cannot afford 120.00 a mth, or 50.00. Is there anything else I can do to get them to stop bothering me about this debt.

I have an account listed on my CRA reports as IIB. This is accurate, however I would like the account listing to remain, but not indicate that it was IIB. How do I go about making this happen?

My mother called me today to say that someone came to her door to serve me with a summons. My mother told them that I do not even live in the state any longer. They asked her if she knew me. She said "yes I am her mom but I am not signing anything." She said the person serving the summons told her that she didn't have to sign and they would do what is called a drop service instead. I have read that it is legal in California to do a drop service but I thought they had to positively identify the person as the defendant to do this.

However, I have a savings account and my daughter has a savings account at the bank that the PDLS have on file. Are our savings accounts safe? We both are now using the savings accounts for our direct deposits. Thanks!

I???ve been served a complaint filed by David J. Apothaker in PA. The summon was delivered before the 30 day notice of debt validation. I don???t know if that matters but I sent the validation letter after I received the summon. However the validation letter was sent in less than 30 days of the first collection letter they sent me claiming I owe them. My question is, what???s my case here and course of action, should I file a counter-claim? Can they sue me before they validate the debt? Thank you for this great site.

I have been making my payments on line so the c.c company has my bank info. My question is now that it is delinquent can they just take money out of my account with out permission. Would it be better to get a new checking account # ? Thanks

Please help me! I am being harrassed by a collection agency that scammed me once already, They claimed they were collecting for a payday loan I owed, and I paid them. Then they called me back and tried to collect again. Now they are calling me at work and my references. They have all my information (I also had unauthorized charges on my bank account from some scam services, so this may be where they got the information) If someone is kind enough to answer me, where will I find the answer?
